This week were discussing a man who lived a very simple life of bounty hunting, pillaging, and burning out peoples eyeballs who wouldn't give him the information he needed. a simple guy ya know? This week were talking about Francisco Pizzaro. ENJOY!
Francisco Pizarro González[a] (/pɪˈzɑːroʊ/; Spanish: [fɾanˈθisko piˈθaro]; c. 16 March 1478 – 26 June 1541) was a Spanish conquistador, best known for his expeditions that led to the Spanish conquest of Peru.
Born in Trujillo, Spain to a poor family, Pizarro chose to pursue fortune and adventure in the New World. He went to the Gulf of Urabá, and accompanied Vasco Núñez de Balboa in his crossing of the Isthmus of Panama, where they became the first Europeans to reach the Pacific Ocean. He served as mayor of the newly founded Panama City for a few years, and undertook two failed expeditions to Peru. In 1529, Pizarro obtained permission from the Spanish crown to lead a campaign to conquer Peru and went on his third, and successful, expedition.

This week we're sitting down to talk about Caligula! aka Lil Boot Badazz! This guy is F*CKED, to me it seems like every super villain we've ever seen in a movie was based on him. The trauma he suffered through at a young age made me one of the most EVIL people we've covered on this show. ENJOY!
"Caligula (/kəˈlɪɡjʊlə/; 31 August 12 – 24 January 41 AD), formally known as Gaius (Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus), was the third Roman emperor, ruling from 37 to 41. The son of the popular Roman general Germanicus and Augustus's granddaughter Agrippina the Elder, Caligula was born into the first ruling family of the Roman Empire, conventionally known as the Julio-Claudian dynasty."

The remains of 215 children were found last month buried in unmarked graves at a former residential school, one of more than 150 institutions in a defunct system that for well over a century forcibly separated Indigenous children from their families to assimilate them into Canadian society. This has sparked an uproar of people pointing the finger at the man who created the first residential school and the concept altogether. This mans name was Egerton Ryerson. Today we're looking back at his life to see what he was really about and if the vandalism of his statues is warranted... ENJOY!

THIS WEEK IS THE INFAMOUS Attila (/ˈætɪlə, əˈtɪlə/; fl. c. 406–453), frequently called Attila the Hun, was the ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in March 453. He was also the leader of a tribal empire consisting of Huns, Ostrogoths, Alans and Bulgars, among others, in Central and Eastern Europe.
During his reign, he was one of the most feared enemies of the Western and Eastern Roman Empires. He crossed the Danube twice and plundered the Balkans, but was unable to take Constantinople. His unsuccessful campaign in Persia was followed in 441 by an invasion of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, the success of which emboldened Attila to invade the West.[3] He also attempted to conquer Roman Gaul (modern France), crossing the Rhine in 451 and marching as far as Aurelianum (Orléans) before being stopped in the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains.
He subsequently invaded Italy, devastating the northern provinces, but was unable to take Rome. He planned for further campaigns against the Romans, but died in 453. After Attila's death, his close adviser, Ardaric of the Gepids, led a Germanic revolt against Hunnic rule, after which the Hunnic Empire quickly collapsed. He would live on as a character in Germanic heroic legend. ENJOY!

This week were sitting down to cover King Henry the VIII!
Henry VIII (28 June 1491 – 28 January 1547) was King of England from 1509 until his death in 1547. Henry is best known for his six marriages, and, in particular, his efforts to have his first marriage (to Catherine of Aragon) annulled. His disagreement with Pope Clement VII on the question of such an annulment led Henry to initiate the English Reformation, separating the Church of England from papal authority. He appointed himself Supreme Head of the Church of England and dissolved convents and monasteries, for which he was excommunicated. Henry is also known as "the father of the Royal Navy," as he invested heavily in the navy, increasing its size from a few to more than 50 ships, and established the Navy Board.

Should black people celebrate St Patrick's day? Is genocide okay if its mostly slave masters?? Who was St Patrick really? Who he just another rider for god like the St Mother Teresa??? This week, the week of St Patrick's day were sitting down to talk about St Patrick himself. One thing we've learned on this show is that with great conquering comes with genocide, something that st Patrick is not known for. As we dig deep in to who he was and what "St Patrick's Day actually represents! ENJOY!
Saint Patrick was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary patron saint of Ireland, the other patron saints being Brigit of Kildare and Columba. Patrick was never formally canonised, having lived prior to the current laws of the Catholic Church in these matters. Nevertheless, he is venerated as a Saint in the Catholic Church and in the Eastern Orthodox Church, where he is regarded as equal-to-the-apostles and Enlightener of Ireland. He is also regarded as a Saint within the framework of their respective doctrine by the Anglican Communion and the Lutheran Churches.
The dates of Patrick's life cannot be fixed with certainty, but there is general agreement that he was active as a missionary in Ireland during the fifth century. A recent biography on Patrick shows, a late fourth-century date for the saint is not impossible. Early medieval tradition credits him with being the first bishop of Armagh and Primate of Ireland, and regards him as the founder of Christianity in Ireland, converting a society practicing a form of Celtic polytheism. He has been generally so regarded ever since, despite evidence of some earlier Christian presence in Ireland.

This week we're covering the man who inspired "The Small Man Syndrome", Napoleon Bonaparte!
Small bit about him: Napoléon Bonaparte (15 August 1769 – 5 May 1821) was a French military and political leader. He rose to prominence during the French Revolution and led several successful campaigns during the Revolutionary Wars. As Napoleon I, he was Emperor of the French from 1804 until 1814, and again in 1815. Napoleon dominated European and global affairs for more than a decade while leading France against a series of coalitions in the Napoleonic Wars. He won most of these wars and the vast majority of his battles, building a large empire that ruled over continental Europe before its final collapse in 1815. One of the greatest commanders in history, his wars and campaigns are studied at military schools worldwide. He also remains one of the most celebrated and controversial political figures in history.

Its our last episode of Black History Month and we're discussing the GREAT Fred Hampton Chairman of the Black Panther Party, Illinois. After watching the recently released film "Judas and The Black Messiah" and the 2 whole hours of rigorous research we do, I have to say this very young man accomplished a lot from age 10 to 21 years old. First Martin, then Malcom, and then Fred Hampton another man who tried to bring the poor and disenfranchised together and up. ENJOY!
Fredrick Allen Hampton (August 30, 1948 – December 4, 1969) was an American activist, Marxist-Leninist and revolutionary socialist.[4][5] He came to prominence in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party (BPP), and deputy chairman of the national BPP. In this capacity, he founded the Rainbow Coalition, a prominent multicultural political organization that initially included the Black Panthers, Young Patriots, and the Young Lords, and an alliance among major Chicago street gangs to help them end infighting and work for social change.
In 1967, Hampton was identified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a radical threat. The FBI tried to subvert his activities in Chicago, sowing disinformation among black progressive groups and placing a counterintelligence operative in the local Panthers.

Hey guys! In honor of Black History Month we decided to cover great Black leaders, public figures, and activists. Starting with Brother Malcolm X. An amazing man, incredible speaker, and a man able to inspire and leader 10s of thousands of people, but (SPOILER ALERT) in "One Night In Miami" he definitely was the wet blanket of the party! Check out what we found out and came to think of Malcolm X after watching the movie, and our in depth research (two hours) ENJOY!
Malcolm X was an African American leader in the civil rights movement, minister and supporter of Black nationalism. He urged his fellow Black Americans to protect themselves against white aggression “by any means necessary,” a stance that often put him at odds with the nonviolent teachings of Martin Luther King, Jr.
