Our guest, Andrea Mosler, is a Specialist Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and Senior Research Fellow at La Trobe University and is currently working on injury prevention in football, hip/groin pain, and women in sport research projects. Her PhD, completed in 2018, investigated the risk factors for hip and groin pain in professional football players and was conducted while working at Aspetar, Qatar. Andrea previously worked for 18 years at the Australian Institute of Sport as a Senior Sports Physiotherapist and has been an Australian team physiotherapist at many sporting events including the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics Games and the 1998 Commonwealth Games. She is Deputy Editor of the British Journal of Sports Medicine, Associate Editor of the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport and continues to practice clinically in conjunction with her research work.

Our guest Liz Bayley MSc, MCSP, HCPC, is a specialist dance physio with āTrinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Danceā in London and was the head physio on Disneyās āThe Lion Kingā, from 2021-2024 in Londonās West End. Outside of dance, she has worked with Middlesbrough Football club, players from the UAE Pro League, and the National Basketball Association in the USA. Liz teaches international courses on the foot and ankle, and dance specific physiotherapy. In January 2025, she was a speaker at Sports Kongres in Copenhagen, talking about hypermobility and injury prevention in dancers. She wrote the section on āPosterior Ankle Impingementā for the new edition of āClinical Sports Medicineā, which will be released in 2026. Liz works with professional dancers in London, in shows such as āMary Poppinsā, āMatthew Bourneās Swan Lakeā, and āBack to the Futureā. She manages injuries in dancers around the world via telehealth, including European Ballet companies and world champion Irish Dancers, returning them to competition level.Ā

Our guest Dr Seth Peterson, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT). He is the owner of The Motive Physical Therapy Specialists in Tucson, Arizona, and an associate editor for JOSPT Cases and Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Practice. Dr. Peterson has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters. He is an Associate Editor for both The Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy Cases and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice, and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications. He has received the Emerging Leader Award from both AAOMPT and APTA, and the Innovative Practice Award from the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He is one of less than 1% of physical therapists to have completed both residency and fellowship training, where he has had the opportunity to train under national experts in the field of orthopedic physical therapy and spine management. Dr. Peterson maintains a faculty position at A.T. Still University, where he mentors residents and fellows. He is also the co-owner of The Movement Brainery, a continuing education company.

MDT, is a physical therapist who earned his manual therapy certification in the Maitland Concept in 1990 and completed the McKenzie Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) in 1992 in Wellington, New Zealand. He has taught MDT internationally and presented at global conferences since 1993, focusing on its role in the biopsychosocial model and in anesthesiology. Hans works as a consultant at Rugpoli Brabant in Tilburg, the Netherlands, a center for manual medicine and pain management. He collaborates with VU University Amsterdam on MDT-anesthesiology research and serves on the Faculty Council and Public Health Committee of the McKenzie Institute International. In 2017, he received the Instituteās āBronze Ladyā Extension Award for his research.
