Day 79- Why Wrong Becomes Normal When No One Speaks Up | Maidah 58-67

In today’s episode, we explore verses 58 to 67 of Surah Al Maidah, where Allah reminds us to stay confident in our deen even when others mock our prayer, modesty, or values. Our worth is measured by our standing with Allah, not by public approval. What some call flaws are actually virtues that elevate the believer.

We also look at how communities fall when leaders and families stay silent about wrongdoing, and how hardship can lead to negative assumptions about Allah. The Qur’an teaches that upholding faith, taqwa, and the teachings of Islam brings forgiveness, strength, and opened doors. We end with a simple question: What is one step you can take today to root the Qur’an more deeply in your life?

Day 78- The Qur’an as Witness and Judge Over Previous Scriptures | Maida 48-57

Today we look at verses 48-57 of Surah Maida, whichs affirms the Qur’an as the final revelation that confirms earlier scripture and stands as its guardian. Allah commands the Prophet to judge only by what He revealed and warns him against those who attempt to mislead him.

The passage then addresses loyalty and identity, warning believers not to rely on or take as protective allies those who show hostility toward their faith. True loyalty lies with Allah, His Messenger, and the believers who uphold prayer and charity with humility, and they are the ones who will ultimately prevail.

Day 77- Seeking Judgment Without Seeking Truth | Maidah 42-47

In today’s verses, Allah exposes the hypocrisy of those who claimed to follow revelation while hiding its truth. The Jews of Madinah listened to lies, consumed unlawful wealth, and came to the Prophet seeking judgments that suited their desires, even though the authentic ruling already existed in their own scripture. Allah reminds them of the Torah He revealed to Musa, a book of guidance, clarity, and light that their prophets and scholars were entrusted to uphold. He recounts the laws of justice and retribution written upon them, and how pardon brings spiritual reward for the one who forgives. Allah then describes how He sent Isa, son of Maryam, confirming the truth of the Torah and receiving the Gospel as guidance and clear proof.

Day 76- Justice and Mercy in Islamic Law | Maida 33-41

In verses 33-41, Allah outlines the consequences for those who spread violence and fear, while still opening a door of mercy for anyone who repents before being caught.

We learn about taqwa, seeking nearness to Allah, and the reality that no amount of wealth can save a person on the Day of Judgment. The rulings on theft remind us that true repentance is always accepted, even when legal consequences remain.

The passage ends by exposing hypocrisy and showing that guidance is tied to the purity of the heart. A powerful reminder of justice, mercy, and personal responsibility.

Day 75- The Story of Habil and Qabil | Maidah 24-32

These verses show how fear and weak faith led the Children of Israel to refuse Allah’s command, while Musa turned to Allah knowing he could only be responsible for himself and his brother. Allah teaches that guidance is in His hands and that we should not grieve over those who choose disobedience after clear truth reaches them.

The story of Adam’s two sons then reveals how envy becomes the root of injustice and the first murder on earth. Habil responds with taqwa and restraint, while Qabil follows his unchecked desires until regret comes too late. The passage closes by honoring the sanctity of life, teaching that taking one innocent soul is like killing all humanity, and saving one is like saving them all.

Day 74- Enter the Gate, and You Will Prevail | Maidah 17-23

In verses 17-23 of Surah Maidah, Allah refutes the claim that Jesus is divine, reminding that even the Messiah and his mother are servants under His command. All power, creation, and dominion belong to Allah alone. The People of the Book are reminded that true closeness to Allah is not through lineage or titles, but through faith, humility, and righteous action.

Then comes the story of Moses and the Children of Israel — a story of blessings, fear, and faith. When they stood before the promised land and hesitated, two believers called out, “Enter the gate, and you will be victorious. Put your trust in Allah if you are believers.” Their courage teaches us that trust in Allah is not passive; it is action, movement, and reliance combined.

Day 73- Tawakkul, Covenant, and the Softening of the Heart | Maidah 10-16

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we journey through verses 10–16 of Surah Al-Mā’idah — a passage that moves from divine protection to the inner condition of the heart.

Allah reminds the believers of His favor: how He restrained their enemies and shielded them with His care. He calls them to complete trust — for those who fulfill their covenant with Allah, He is with them — granting protection, victory, and peace. But when covenants are broken, hearts grow hard, and even truth no longer penetrates.

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we explore verses 4–9 of Surah Al-Mā’idah — a passage that reveals Allah’s mercy, balance, and wisdom in the laws of purity, justice, and daily life.

These verses also remind us to live with gratitude, justice, and taqwā — to be fair even when emotions run high, and to remember that true piety begins in the heart. Allah knows what lies within our chests, and He calls us not to perfection, but to mindfulness — to keep moving, step by step, in the direction of taqwā.

Day 70- The Danger of Going Beyond What Allah Commanded | Nisa

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we explore Allah’s closing words in verse 167-175 Surah An-Nisā’—a call to balance, humility, and complete trust in Him. The passage warns against disbelief and extremism, correcting the excesses of those who went too far in denying or deifying the prophets.

The verses end with hope—Allah calls all of humanity to the light of the Qur’an and invites us to entrust every affair to Al-Wakīl, the One who manages all things with perfect knowledge, power, and wisdom. Whoever takes Him as a guardian finds sufficiency, serenity, and success in this life and the next.

Day 69- Messengers: Allah’s Proof, His Mercy, and the Light of Revelation | Nisa 155-166

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+ we look at verse 155-166 of Surah Nisa,

we explore how Allah, the Exalted, recounts the history of those who rejected His messengers. These verses expose the crimes of the past nations: breaking their covenants, denying Allah’s signs, and falsely claiming to have killed ‘Īsā (Jesus). Allah saved him and raised him in honor, proving that falsehood can never triumph over divine truth.

From there, the Qur’an turns to those firmly grounded in knowledge—believers who recognize all prophets and revelations as one chain of light from Adam to Muḥammad ﷺ. It affirms that reason alone cannot guide humanity without revelation, and that sending messengers was both a mercy and a proof, leaving no excuse before Allah.

Day 68- The Hypocrites are in the Lowest Depths of Hell | Nisa 144-154

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we reflect on verses 144–154 of Surah An-Nisā’.

Allah warns that the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell for combining disbelief with deceit—but even then, He leaves the door of mercy open for those who repent, reform, and cling sincerely to Him.

The verses teach that Islam allows the oppressed to express pain but calls believers to rise above anger through forgiveness and gentle speech. It refines emotion rather than suppressing it.

Finally, Allah exposes the arrogance of those who demanded miracles from the Prophet ﷺ—the same pride that blinded their ancestors to the truth.

Day 67- Be Just, Even Against Your Own Soul | Nisa 135-143

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+ we look at verses 135-143 of Surah Nisa, we reflect on one of the Qur’an’s most powerful calls to integrity: “Be steadfast in justice, witnesses for Allah, even against yourselves.”
Allah commands believers to uphold truth in every circumstance, refusing to let wealth, status, or emotion distort fairness. Justice begins within; it means having the courage to be honest with yourself, to admit when you are wrong, and to align with truth even when your ego resists.

Allah reminds us that true honor and strength belong only to Him, not to worldly validation, not to powerful allies, and not to public opinion. Believers are taught to walk with dignity, engage society with wisdom, and withdraw respectfully when faith or sacred values are mocked. This passage calls us to live with moral clarity, spiritual confidence, and unshakable conviction, being just, steadfast, and proud of our faith in every space we enter.

Day 66- Overcoming the Stinginess Within | Nisa 126-134

In this episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we reflect on verses 126–134 of Surah An-Nisā’, where Allah reminds us that He alone owns everything in the heavens and the earth and that His knowledge and power encompass all things. These verses teach that every act of goodness, fairness, and patience is seen by Allah and never lost with Him. They call believers to sincerity in relationships, justice in dealing with others, and generosity in the face of the soul’s stinginess.

When reconciliation becomes difficult and separation occurs, Allah promises to provide for both from His vast bounty. The passage closes by reminding us that both the rewards of this world and the next belong to Him. Living with this awareness brings balance, peace, and freedom from fear, for the one who trusts Allah’s wisdom gains contentment in every state.

Day 65- Mending Hearts, Seeking Allah | Nisa 114-125

In today’s we look at verses 114-125 of Surah Nisa, we explore how Allah calls believers to sincerity, unity, and true submission. The verses begin by praising private speech that serves a noble purpose—charity, goodness, or reconciliation—and warning that only actions done sincerely for Allah carry real weight.

We then reflect on the danger of opposing the Prophet ﷺ or the path of the believers, the deceit of Shayṭān who misleads through false hopes and distorted desires, and the emptiness of relying on wishful thinking instead of righteous action.

Finally, Allah describes the path of those who truly succeed: those who submit fully to Him with excellence and sincerity, following the way of Prophet Ibrāhīm (peace be upon him).

Day 64- Justice Isn’t About Sides—It’s About Truth | Nisa 103-113

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we reflect on verses 103 to 113 of Surah An-Nisā’, a section that unites remembrance, resilience, and justice.

Allah commands believers to remember Him in every state, for dhikr strengthens the heart through fear, fatigue, and life’s daily struggles. Even in pain, the believer endures with hope in Allah’s reward, knowing that every act of worship is a sign of divine favor.

The passage also recounts the story of Tuʿmah ibn Ubayriq, revealing that justice must rise above tribe, loyalty, or emotion. Defending wrong, even out of love or bias, is itself a betrayal of the soul.

In the end, Allah reminds us that betraying others is betraying ourselves, for our souls are a sacred trust, and true strength lies in remembering Him, staying hopeful, and standing for truth.

We learn that every effort done for Allah’s sake—whether fighting, working, or providing for family—is part of being in His path. Whoever sets out toward Allah, even if death meets him before he arrives, his reward is already with Allah.

Day 62- The Trust We Carry: Covenants and Accountability | Nisa 91-94

In this episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we explore verses 91–94 of Surah An-Nisā’, where Allah teaches the sanctity of life, the seriousness of taking another soul, and the importance of justice and restraint even in times of conflict. These verses remind believers that true faith prevents harm, honors covenants, and protects every life under safety and trust, whether Muslim or non-Muslim.

We also reflect on how modern agreements like visas, passports, and citizenships carry the same moral weight as the covenants mentioned in the Qur’an, and how all divine laws only function rightly when hearts live with awareness that Allah sees everything.

Imagine how different our lives, families, and communities would be if we paused before every action and remembered: Allah knows, Allah sees, and every soul is sacred before Him.

Day 61- The Hidden Disease: How Hypocrisy Destroys Faith | Nisa 80-90

In this episode, we journey through verses 80 to 90 of Surah An-Nisā’, where Allah calls believers to sincerity, reflection, and noble character.

We begin with a warning against hypocrisy, showing one face to people and another in private, and how such behavior weakens faith. The Qur’an reminds us that every action shapes the heart: sincerity brings light, while deceit leads to darkness.

We then reflect on the verse, “Do they not then reflect upon the Qur’an?” It is an invitation to pause, think, and find certainty (yaqīn) through understanding Allah’s words.

Finally, the verses teach us to verify information, seek guidance from people of knowledge, and respond to others with goodness and peace. Together, these lessons shape a believer who is truthful, thoughtful, and accountable before Allah.

Day 60- True Strength Begins with Obedience | Nisa 71-79

In this episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we explore verses 71–79 of Sūrat al-Nisā’ — a passage that teaches believers the true meaning of strength, discipline, and reliance on Allah. These verses were revealed under the Prophet’s ﷺ leadership, showing that Islam’s approach to power and protection is never impulsive or chaotic, but guided by wisdom, justice, and moral order.

We also reflect on the believer’s ethos: to respond to blessings with gratitude, to face hardship with self-accountability, and to never lose sight of the greater purpose behind every test. Through these verses, we learn that true power lies not in domination, but in disciplined faith, guided leadership, and unwavering trust in the One who controls all outcomes.
