Dr. Rola Hallam | The Healing Power of Divine Remembrance
What if healing wasn’t something we chased, but something we remembered?

In this beautiful and deeply moving conversation with Dr. Rola Halam, we explore the ancient Sufi practice of Zikr, the remembrance of God through the chanting of the Divine’s 99 names. This sacred practice isn’t just about repetition or ritual. It’s a living, breathing pathway into the heart, a vibration that awakens every cell of the body to divine remembrance and unity.

Dr. Halam shares how each name of God carries its own resonance, mercy, power, compassion, majesty, and how chanting these names opens a portal of healing that reaches through layers of emotion, memory, and energy. In the practice of Zikr, sound becomes medicine. Tears may flow, old wounds may surface, and the heart begins to soften and expand.

This episode invites us to remember that the divine is not somewhere “out there,” but within. Through the vibration of sacred sound and the safety of shared community, we return to the truth that we have never been separate from God, only asleep to that oneness. Zikr becomes the sound of awakening, a return home to the love that has always been within us.

We Also Discuss:
● How sacred sound connects us to a higher being.
● Where true healing begins.
● The process of entering the Sufi tradition.
● How our hearts contain God (when the earth cannot).
● What’s lacking in the Western psychology model of healing trauma.

Radical Responsibility Podcast
Dr. Richard Schwartz | The Parts Within - Understanding Anxiety Through IFS
What if your anxiety isn’t something to fix, but something to listen to?

In this conversation with Dr. Richard Schwartz, the founder of Internal Family Systems (IFS), we explore a powerful and relieving idea: the mind is made up of many parts, not just one. Even the parts of us that feel anxious, controlling, or overwhelmed are not broken or bad, they are protectors shaped by past experiences, doing their best to keep us safe.

Dr. Schwartz explains how anxiety often arises when vulnerable “exiled” parts carrying old wounds, fear, or shame are pushed away. To prevent that pain from surfacing, protective parts step in through panic, perfectionism, control, or distraction. Through the IFS lens, these patterns aren’t character flaws, they are intelligent survival strategies born from pain.

Together, we explore how healing doesn’t come from fighting or fixing these parts, but from meeting them with curiosity, compassion, and Self-leadership. The Self is the calm, grounded, compassionate core within all of us, untouched by trauma. When we lead from this place, anxious parts can finally soften, release their burdens, and guide us back to a deeper sense of wholeness.

● How all parts hold wisdom and purpose
● The natural states of the mind and how parts form
● The qualities of the Self and why it is central to healing
● How unburdening anxious parts creates neurological change
● How wholeness emerges when all parts are welcomed

Dr. Srikumar Rao | The Inner Freedom of Letting Go of Control
What if the very challenges you’re trying to avoid are the ones designed to grow you the most?

In this inspiring conversation with Dr. Srikumar Rao, we explore the deeper dimensions of the entrepreneurial mindset, one rooted in acceptance, adaptability, and inner peace amidst uncertainty. Dr. Rao invites us to see life and business not as problems to solve but as journeys to experience fully, where unpredictability isn’t the enemy, it’s the teacher.

We dive into how embracing uncertainty can actually free us from stress and open us to creativity and flow. Dr. Rao shares practical wisdom on transforming setbacks into opportunities, reframing “failures” as life’s feedback, and learning to trust that the universe is ultimately friendly. When we stop fighting reality and begin responding to it with awareness and intention, we don’t just build better businesses, we build better selves.

This episode is a powerful reminder that the heart of entrepreneurship isn’t control, it’s surrender, growth, and presence.

We Also Discuss:

Peter Sage | Scaling Yourself to Scale Your Business
What if the biggest barrier to growing your business isn’t your strategy, but your state of mind?

In this powerful conversation with Peter Sage, we explore how the real work of scaling a business begins on the inside. Peter’s journey, from high-level success to deep personal transformation, reveals that mindset, emotional maturity, and self-awareness aren’t optional traits for entrepreneurs… they’re the foundation for sustainable growth.

I was struck by Peter’s ability to reframe adversity into expansion. When life handed him challenges that could have broken his spirit, he instead used them as fuel for insight and contribution. We talk about what it takes to evolve from survival mode to an abundance mindset, how emotional maturity shapes leadership, and why scaling your business ultimately means scaling yourself.

This conversation is for anyone who’s reached that edge where strategy isn’t enough, and who’s ready to grow beyond old limitations into a mindset that truly matches their vision.

We Also Discuss:
● Why growth always begins with mindset.● Adversity becoming a teacher if we let it.
● Why leadership requires emotional maturity.
● The fear of scarcity blocking creative flow.
● The dangers of tying self-worth to net worth.

Marci Shimoff | The Secret to Happiness for No Reason
What if true happiness had nothing to do with what you achieve, what you own, or who approves of you?

In this episode, I sit down with Marci Shimoff, a bestselling author and pioneer in the field of happiness and well-being. Marci shares her powerful perspective on what she calls happiness for no reason, an inner state of peace and joy that isn’t dependent on outside circumstances. She reminds us that this kind of happiness isn’t about plastering on a smile or avoiding life’s challenges, but about cultivating a deep inner foundation that allows us to thrive, even when things get tough.

Together, we explore how each of us can step out of the endless chase for happiness “out there” and begin building the habits of mind, heart, and spirit that create lasting fulfillment. Marci offers both wisdom and practical tools that can shift how we live, love, and lead. If you’ve ever wondered why success alone doesn’t bring happiness, or how to sustain joy in the midst of life’s ups and downs, this conversation will open new possibilities for you.

What would it take to bring psychedelic-assisted therapies fully into the mainstream of medicine?

In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Jeannie Fontana to explore the vital importance of creating a state funding agency for psychedelic-assisted therapies. Dr. Gay Hendricks | Turning Fear Into Fuel for Personal Growth
What if the keys to unlocking your greatest creativity and growth are the very fear and anxiety you are trying to avoid? In this episode, I sit down with my dear friend Dr. Gay Hendricks to explore how these often misunderstood emotions can become powerful allies on our journey of transformation.

Gay shares his remarkable insights and personal experiences, including the profound realization that came during a fall when he fully acknowledged the anger, grief, and anxiety he had carried for years. Instead of running from these feelings, he discovered a deeper state of pure awareness waiting on the other side. This conversation is about learning how to befriend fear, breathe through it, and ultimately use it as fuel for our genius and creative potential.

Ocean Robbins | Reclaiming Health One Bite at a Time
What if the way you eat could become the most powerful act of self-love you’ve ever practiced?
In this deeply inspiring conversation with food revolution leader Ocean Robbins, we explore how transforming our beliefs about food can lead to radical healing and alignment—not just in our bodies, but in our minds, hearts, and communities.

So many of us were taught to treat food as a reward, entertainment, or escape. But what happens when we begin to see food as medicine? As integrity? As a way of caring for ourselves that is rooted in love and aligned with our deepest values?

Radical Responsibility Podcast
John Assaraf | How Success Is Forged from Commitment, Not Desire
What if the only thing standing between you and your greatest potential... is your level of commitment?

In this conversation with brain science and business expert John Assaraf, we dive into the quiet difference between those who dabble and those who truly change their lives, the ones who move from interest to full-bodied, no-excuses commitment.

I remember when I first heard John describe the moment his life changed — it wasn’t when he made his first million or landed a big opportunity. It was when a mentor asked him a question that cut straight to the core: “Are you interested in your goals… or are you committed to achieving them?

”That question became the seed of a lifelong journey — one rooted in identity, discipline, and the neuroscience of personal transformation.

John and I talk about how our brains can be rewired, how fear is learned (and unlearned), and why most people stay stuck not because they can’t but because they haven’t yet chosen to fully commit. We explore what it means to build a mindset that doesn’t collapse under pressure but evolves through it.

This episode is for anyone who’s tired of half-measures and ready to upgrade their belief system, business, and daily life — from the inside out. And we have an exclusive offer for podcast listeners too. It’s the Heart and Mind Institute membership where you can access transformational teaching and training with world-renowned teachers, scientists, and healers that you can check out through this link - https://www.heartmind.co/podcastoffer

We Also Discuss:
● The concept of commitment as a decision to remove all excuses.
● How interest dips in discomfort, and commitment rises through it.
● How fear and self-doubt are learned, which means they can be unlearned.
● Creating success through alignment not desire.
● The need to upgrade identity before strategy can stick.

Bessel van der Kolk | The Future of Trauma Healing Is Already Here
What if the very memories you've been running from could become the doorway to your healing?

In this powerful conversation with world-renowned trauma researcher Dr. Bessel van der Kolk, we explore how MDMA-assisted psychotherapy is transforming lives and unlocking access to healing that, for many, has felt unreachable for decades. I had the honor of speaking with Dr. Bessel van der Kolk about the science, spirit, and soulful possibility of reprocessing trauma, especially developmental trauma, through this promising modality.

Dr. van der Kolk takes us deep into what trauma really does to the brain, how we get stuck in cycles of re-experiencing rather than remembering, and how MDMA helps break that loop by fostering both safety and self-compassion. We talk about what it means to reconnect with the part of yourself that got hurt the most, and how to begin building trust with that younger self, perhaps for the very first time.

This episode is for anyone seeking new hope in the treatment of trauma, anyone who's done "the work" but still feels frozen inside, and anyone curious about how the future of healing is already here.

We Also Discuss:
● How trauma is not remembered, it’s relived.
● MDMA therapy and how it creates a safe space for memory integration
● The way healing happens when safety meets vulnerability
● Psychedelics and its ability to re-open neural pathways to trust and connection
● How integration is the bridge between insight and transformation

Radical Responsibility Podcast
Steven Kotler | Performance Begins in the Mind
What if the biggest barrier to your greatness… is just a belief?

This week, I explore the invisible architecture of performance, the beliefs that either hold us back or launch us forward — with human performance expert and flow science pioneer, Stephen Kotler.

We dive deep into what Stephen calls The Bannister Effect, the phenomenon that shattered the myth of human limitation the moment Roger Bannister broke the four-minute mile. It wasn't just his body that crossed the threshold; it was belief itself that broke open the gates. And once it did? Everyone followed.

But this episode isn't just about history. It’s about what happens in your brain when you hit flow, why it matters for healing and performance, and how we can actually overwrite limiting beliefs — not just wish them away.

Stephen shares the neuroscience of flow, the connection between belief and vision, and how we can train ourselves to become more flow-prone. If you've ever felt stuck in a story of not-good-enough, this episode is for you. Because once the belief changes… everything changes.

We Also Discuss:
● Why belief is a performance technology, and most of us are underusing it
● How what we believe shapes what we see, and what we see determines what we do
● The “Bannister Effect” and how it shows that changing one belief can lift a whole world
● The scientific definition of flow.
● And how neuroplasticity is real — and that your brain can change.

Dr. Rosalind Watts | You Are Not Broken, You Are Becoming
What if your tangled roots are the very source of your healing?

In this conversation, I had the honor of sitting down with Dr. Rosalind Watts, clinical psychologist, researcher, and the visionary behind the ACER model of psychedelic integration. Together, we dove deep into what it really takes to transform psychedelic insights into embodied, lasting change—not just alone, but in community.

Rosalind doesn’t just talk about integration—she lives it, teaches it, and structures it into a 12-month journey of restoration, beautifully mapped onto the Celtic tree calendar. We explored the roots of acceptance, the branches of connection, and the embodied wisdom that blossoms when we restore our link to self, community, and nature.

Whether you're a therapist, a seeker, or someone walking through the fire of transformation, this episode offers a deeply human invitation: come home to yourself, and find your people along the way.

We Also Discuss: ● How acceptance begins when we stop editing the truth of our experience
● The deepening of psychedelic healing when shared in a safe, structured community
● Connection as being more than support, it’s soul medicine
● How embodiment turns insight into practice, and practice into peace

What if the trauma we carry isn’t just something to manage—but something that can become a springboard for profound growth?

In this deeply inspiring conversation, I sit down with my dear friend and brilliant colleague Dr. Dawson Church, a pioneering researcher in the fields of epigenetics and energy psychology. Radical Responsibility Podcast
Hal Elrod | SAVERS: The Ritual That Changed Millions
What if your greatest setbacks were actually preparing you to lead others?

In this powerful conversation, I sit down with Hal Elrod, best-selling author of The Miracle Morning, to explore how radical adversity can shape a life of deep purpose and impact. Hal has lived this truth — surviving a near-fatal car crash, enduring cancer, and emerging with an unshakable commitment to help others transform their lives.

We talk about his “SAVERS” morning framework and how consistent daily rituals build the foundation for inner mastery and outer success. But this episode goes deeper — into the emotional and spiritual intelligence needed to navigate entrepreneurship, parenthood, and the work of real transformation.

Hal reminds us that who we become through our struggles isn’t just personal — it’s deeply service-oriented. That the people we’re meant to serve are often walking the very path we’ve walked ourselves. And that our true success lies in aligning with something far greater than ourselves.

If you’re ready to deepen your purpose, lead from the heart, and transform challenge into a platform for service — this one’s for you.

We Also Discuss:
● Turning hardship into healing for others
● Building your day with the SAVERS routine
● Choosing your emotional state on purpose
● Balancing achievement with connection
● Letting your life serve something bigger
