For the season four finale, I thought I'd try my hands at giving an introspective take on dating by sharing my experience. I explore the dangers of certain identities we've consciously or unconsciously crowned ourselves with.
Before diving into the episode, I give some tips collected from my very unserious followers on Instagram on dealing with seasonal depression. Later on, I share my biggest lessons of 2024.
See you in the new year <33
Thank you for following Radio Uzo, listening and sharing your thoughts with me.
To all the new listeners, welcome. There's Malt and Shawarma in the fridge. I'd recommend air-frying the shawarma tho.
Yvan is absolutely one of my favorite people to talk with. He's God-fearing, playful, tasteful, productive, and uniquely insightful.
On this episode of Radio Uzo, we get into everything from his NYSC experience and love for dance to how he embraces his many creative talents.
Yvan is a model, dancer, designer, and Muay Thai novice. Super excited to share this episode with the Radio Uzo family. You're in for a treat!

The bestie of all besties joins us on Radio Uzo to talk all things friendship, motherhood, dating, and living in community.
With all the craziness in our schedules over the years, this was a chance to truly reconnect. I'm curious to see how she has evolved and if she was still the same girl who tried frying raw beans. Like no soaking or nothing, just frying pan, oil, and raw beans.
Anyone who knows Janet knows she's big on relationships both at the personal and communal level. We discuss building intentional friendships, especially as adults.
We had fun on this one with lots of stories.
Also quick question for the UT folks, is the X lounge still a thing?

I think I'm becoming really igbo and it's actually scaring me. Saw these red loafers the other day and they looked appetizing omg.
Sit and ruminate with me on this episode. We're discussing growing pains, lay-offs, taste-making, dating and prioritizing friends.
We're all just trying to figure it out so let me know what you think.
Founder, neuroscientist, and self proclaimed 'hort gorl,' Nita joins us on this fun and highly thought provoking episode of Radio Uzo.
What do fallen gay icons, Tinubu, and showering in a tux having in common? Well, listen to find out.
The first episode was soo good we had to bring him back. Uchenna is back with us on the new season of Radio Uzo after a monumental 2023. In this episode, he sits down with Uzo to discuss brand building, the creative renaissance happening in Dallas, and his biggest lessons from 2023. They also discuss plans for the future and where they'd like to evolve in the new year. On a lighter note, Uchenna delivers a shocking and possibly accurate breakdown of Uzo's rizz game. If this has worked you, you might be eligible for compensation. Lots of laughs on this one so save it for the perfect moment.

The age we're turning this year isn't that funny tbh. Nothing is funny. If your year is off to a false start, the Chinese new year is coming up so don't worry. I definitely took advantage of it last year.
Welcome to season 4 of Radio Uzo! Make some noise wtf??! In this episode, I give a bit of a teaser into the season ahead and discuss three important points I think we should all consider for the new year:
Enjoy and please share the episode with someone you care about. Follow the accounts to stay updated!

Recorded in Atlanta during the Davido AWAY festival weekend which also coincided with my birthday weekend.
This episode with Felz is the story of what momentum looks like in the span of a year when you remain consistent and have a village supporting you. It's the perfect episode to listen to while pondering the kind of year you want to have in 2024.
We discuss the story of MAINLND, mental frameworks you need to have to conquer your wildest dreams, football being a great analogy for life, and loads more.
This is one you want to discuss with a friend or perhaps while on a long drive. Enjoy and please share the episode with someone.

Life can be long or short depending on how you view it. Too many times we leave things unsaid secretly hoping for a chance to someday make your case, share a kiss, or get in that fire ass comeback you just thought of that would have been fitting maybe 13 months ago. Some of us are shockingly great at detachment while some of us replay conversations from three years ago constantly. Regardless of where you stand, I think we can all appreciate a chance at a do over.
This episode is centered on friendship but the themes are relevant across most relationship types. For those who have been with me on my podcasting journey (I'm talking Abstract Culture, soundcloud and uni days), this one might hit a little different. Enjoy and share with a friend.
Omo it seems like we're back shaa. Hope this finds you well. If it doesn't, come back to it when you're not bad vibes.
On this episode, we're talking about why I keep flying to Dallas like I have containers that need my attention. There's something cool about new folks adding life to a situation that felt stale.
New Yawwwk! Just got back from that bread ridden city with such an efficient subway system. San Francisco pls take notes. Did some fashun tings and saw Mr. Money who definitely brought the vibes.
We're mainly catching up, its so nice to have you here.
Hope y'all are having an amazing week. I just want to use this episode to give flowers to the Nigerian babes out there defying expectations and making their own path. It's not easy, know that we love you and are cheering for you.
There's something inspiring about talking to someone who's really about it. They have a vision and though its not super clear how it comes to life, one day at a time, they bring it to fruition. From Apollo to Joint and Jams, Uchenna is a guy imposing his will on the world while also having fun with it. This episode was recorded back in November of 2021 when we all came to ATL for Davido. It also happened to be my birthday weekend. We get into topics like being the firstborn in an Igbo household, Dallas nightlife, dating, and having a sense of style. Don't let his deep voice scare you, Uchenna is actually a sweetheart. Enjoy the episode.

Happy new year!
Merry Christmas!
Happy Birthday!
Congrats and Condolences!
I've been itching to speak to you guys and I'm thankful to be in a space where I can share what I've been going through the past few months. Long story short, its long. Listen and prepare yourself for a new Radio Uzo episode.
Not a rant but just me thinking out loud when it comes to the issues I've noticed in the Nigerian alte scene.
ANOTHER BANIGER! I got the opportunity to literally sit down with one of my favorite people, Nnemka. She's an engineer, artist, and all-around star. She juggles the "work hard, play hard" mindset like no one I know. In this episode, we discuss the importance of networking and how putting yourself out there can get you the things you want. Hear how she switched from a career in Chemical Engineering to Computer Science during the lockdown and how much grit and determination it took. We also discuss ways our parents could benefit from social media and we come up with interesting ways to help our parents build a closer network online. Nnemka shares tips on what to say when you first meet someone professionally and a funny way she's been able to get the best customer service wherever she goes.
On a lighter note, we discuss Dubai and afrobeat artists we find overrated and why. There are so many gems in this episode and I hope you're able to share them with your loved ones and enemies too.

How una dey? It's your favorite consistently inconsistent yet unproblematic podcast host, Uzo. We're back with yet another banger. This episode is the one you want to wash dishes to or something to keep you occupied while you do that one chore you extremely hate. I begin by presenting the new direction for Radio Uzo and how it's less of a "How to" podcast and more of a space to navigate my 20s and share what lessons, tragedies, and perspectives I have on this wild ride we call life. Hopefully the more specific, the more universal it becomes.
On this particular episode, we discuss topics such as:
