RAP...the conversation with Black C of RBL Posse
RTC Season Two
Pre Season Bonus Episode
Recorded February 10, 2025
Black C is a legendary emcee and founding member of San Francisco’s RBL Posse. Along with Mr. Cee, RBL burst onto the scene with their 1992 debut A Lesson To Be Learned, which we discussed on Rap...the conversation Season One, Episode #18.
Representing Hunters Point, and widely recognized in Hip Hop circles as one of the early Bay Area pioneers, Black C carved out some time recently to join us for a conversation about the RBL legacy, his current ventures and to share some exclusive insights into the mind of the man who has kept the Ruthless By Law Posse torch lit for the past three decades, since the heartbreaking and untimely passing of his partner Mr. Cee, prior to the duo’s first major label release.
It was an honour to welcome the icon onto our platform. We hope you enjoy this bonus episode prior to the launch of our sophomore season.
Stay tuned for Season Two of RAP...the conversation when, among other monumental albums, we will be reviewing RBL Posse’s self-titled sophomore effort Ruthless By Law.
In the meantime, visit the RBL store at the links below to discover the entire RBL catalogue and other merch, including Black C’s autobiography A Part Of Survival: From The Block To The Booth.
