Have you ever wondered how the Divine Author of the Bible might play an unseen role in giving us our biblical text? In this episode we explain what textual weaving is: the ancient art of writing where the author carefully arranges the words into invisible columns and rows — like threads on a loom — so that when you read them horizontally you get the story, but when you read them vertically you discover a whole new objective and fixed level of meaning that turns the story into a brilliant tapestry. The story of the seventy: We flip the hourglass: heaven’s angelic sons once ruled; now, through Christ, humans reclaim dominion.
