Olugbenga Ogunbowale is a communications expert & social entrepreneur. An alumnus of the Leadership in Business Institute of Kellogg School of Management (USA), He has a certification in Integrated Marketing Communications from IE Business School (Spain) & a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria).
Inspired by the plight of millions of unemployed youths, Olugbenga founded Epower, a digital agency building websites & mobile Apps to passionately grow businesses as well as training youths to accelerate the application of digital skills for economic prosperity across Africa.
A Mandela Washington Fellow, Tony Elumelu Fellow, Royal Common wealth society fellow, YALI star of business & YALI network influencer, Olugbenga is the founder of Africa’s biggest orphanage outreach, The Orphan Empowerment Society, empowering thousands of orphans with free vocational skills, medical care, & food. He is also the co-founder of the communication & leadership organization, Pacesetters Leadership Club.
A highly sought after change agent with speaking engagements spanning 3 continents, Olugbenga has been featured by Voice of America, USAID, NTA, TVC, LTV, Radio Nigeria, Tribune amongst others.
Emeka is a social entrepreneur, focused on designing and implementing solutions that address the curriculum gaps in Nigerian higher institutions with the goal of ensuring young people gain the required employability, entrepreneurial and technology skills to compete in the 21st century. He has over 10 years’ experience working in the areas of youth unemployment. As the Project Lead for Inceptum, he has organized the “Nigerian Campus Enterprise Challenge”, “Wake up & Smell the Coffee” Summit, as well as numerous hackathons including the US Embassy sponsored “Disability Inclusion Hackathon” (a first on a Nigerian Campus). In 2016 Emeka completed a Business & entrepreneurship Institute training at the University of Texas at Austin as part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. He is currently the Chief Community Builder at Campus Labs, where he is focused on building a movement of young innovative problem solvers across Nigerian higher institutions.
Abimbola Ojenike is a lawyer and social entrepreneur. As a lawyer, he provides litigation and transactional services to businesses, regulators and individuals. He has specialized interest in advising emerging businesses in the innovation and technology space on product development, regulations, finance and intellectual property transactions. He was recently profiled as one of the 40 Under 40 rising stars of the legal profession by the Nigeria Legal Awards.
Abimbola leads and supports initiatives for social change with a passion to broaden access to justice and see children rise out of poverty and prosper. He is Co-founder and Director at the Destiny Trust, a social intervention focusing on the holistic development of underrepresented children through integrated initiatives in education, care and empowerment. His work at The Destiny Trust involves coordinating all the elements of the organization’s structures and programmes which include providing education access to out-of-school children, improving literacy proficiency, providing shelter, daily feeding, continuing care to housing insecure children, empowering poor households and equipping underserved children with technology skills through an innovation development initiative called the Kids Innovation Hub.
He is currently a Partner at Slingstone LP, a growing law firm with specialized competence in commercial litigation, technology, intellectual property and corporate finance.
