When everything we have is stripped away. God is still on His throne. The Jews in Jerusalem waited too late to see God high, holy, and lifted up. As long as He withheld His judgment, they neglected to repent. When God's judgment came, it was worse than anyone could have ever imagined. The generation in which you live and the cultural conquest the world tries to make matters not. God remains the same. No matter what the state of our nation, all that will truly remain is the Lord!

God holds only one body on earth responsible for declaring the truth of His Word. Spirit-filled churches are to lift the standard of decency, holiness, and righteousness. When pastors and Christian leaders neglect God's Word and follow the pattern of the world, the church becomes dim, and the nation suffers. Obedience is the only way to find the peace and joy that Jesus Christ promised us. The culture is always calling, but caring for our heart and staying in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word will help our homes.

The key to the victorious Christian life is living consciously under the ruling presence of Jesus Christ.  We know God's presences in our lives by praying, meditating on God's Word, and going through deep trials and depending on Him to carry us through. When God comes near. He removes our fear, redeems our lives, and reveals Himself. The answer to our sin is the nearness of God. The Lord is chiseling away at us to bring us to the place where we can be more usable and glorifying to Him.

In this world, evil men and seducers are waxing worse and worse. God is searching for a people who will pay the price in their own personal lives to please Him. Only after we are willing to confess our sin can we call out to God in prayer. The first request God desires us to make is for His will to be done. The Lord is still working on us. He is opposed to the wickedness of our world, but it is in our hearts and hands that God will first do His work.

You must come to know God personally. Recalling the truth about God carries us through the trials of life. Jeremiah discovered this as he experienced God's judgment on Jerusalem. When everything else was gone, he remembered that God was eternal, holy, and almighty. We cannot learn what we must learn about God until we understand we are nothing without Him. God is our hope. He is merciful, and we can trust in His faithfulness.
