What did you do with the life I gave you? Because it is a gift. We must know why we are alive. Don't deceive yourself. You might learn late in life, too late in life that; "for the past fourth, sixty years, I have been deceiving myself", and you are close to the grave. What you plant is what you reap. If you sow to the flesh, you reap corruption. If you sow to the spirit you reap from the Spirit. The message given by Apostle David, titled, "Don't Deceive Yourself" highlights the importance all of us being given the gift of life. We hope that this message will uplift and encourage you as you continue to grow in Christ. In this message titled "Why Are You Still Alive?", Apostle David explains that strength, youth, and wealth are not foundations to rely on. The strong shouldn't depend on their strength, the young shouldn't take their youth for granted, and the rich shouldn't put their trust in riches. You can leave this world at any moment—whether strong, young, or wealthy, even at the height of your success. Listen closely to this powerful message as he reminds us why our trust should be in God above all else.
When God grants you peace, even in the face of knowing tomorrow might be your last, you will find rest. In a world full of anxiety, fear, and stress, true peace allows you to sleep soundly. When God takes time to answer our prayers, it's not always a test or a way to punish us. Sometimes, it's a way for Him to grow and shape us into stronger, more mature individuals. Think of it like a child—if a child always gets what they want immediately, they never learn or grow, and that would ultimately harm them.
To watch and pray is the greatest test to the flesh, but it is not the greatest test to the spirit, because the spirit is always willing, but the flesh is weak. To be Christian, to be born again and coming to church is not enough. After we become born again, we must learn how to watch and pray because we are in a great warfare and this war will end at our grave. As children of God, we must learn to watch and pray so that our watchman, that is our mind, does not sleep, because when it sleeps, that’s when satan attacks us with negative thoughts. So child of God, in this era of prayer, make sure that you learn how to watch and pray.
Many who identify as Christians all over the world profess to love Jesus Christ. However, can their confession be proved, if so how? Listen to this thought provoking address by Apostle David titled: “Do you really love Jesus?” and find out how we can know if we truly love Jesus or not.
Jesus is the object for our faith. His Word reveals God’s heart, demands, and desires. The object of creation is that it must worship God. The one who united with the Lord, is one with Him in Spirit. There is an element of God in you that is your Spirit - Worship Him in Spirit and truth! We hear the Word of truth when God speaks - Be blessed as you listen as you listen to a message inspired by the Holy Spirit, delivered by Apostle David Poonyane.
