In this episode, Logan and Jules breakdown their thoughts on the 2024 election and what they think that the Democratic party should learn, but probably won't.
In this first episode back, The People's Himbo and Jules discuss Issue 1 in detail as early voting has begun. They cover in the episode what conservatives and pro-Issue 1 folks are saying, but they also try and counter some of these talking points with their takes.
They also briefly discuss a few other topics as well towards the beginning. Jules recently finished Destiny of the Republic, a book about James Garfield which lead to him discovering that Garfield was called "The Education President" because of his strong support for education and laying the groundwork for the Department of Education.

In this episode, we update the listeners on a few things that we talked about in the last episode. Especially updates regarding HJR 6 and Erin's Law.
We cover how the bill to protect the Ohio Constitution was resubmitted by Brian Stewart with some added changes that may have lost some support.
We also cover the recent Ohio House Speaker drama, as Democrats and Republicans worked together to make Jason Stephens the Speaker.
Ultimately, we hope that this means that there is a shifting change in Ohio and a rejection of culture wars for compromises to end the political circus and progress together.
In this episode, we talk about proposed changes to Ohio's Constitution that would make it so that a 60% threshold needs to be met in order for the ballot initiative to pass. There are a lot of groups across the political spectrum that have been opposed to this change. Since we recorded this episode, a substituted version of the bill has been put forward which also requires a 60% threshold on GA approved amendments to the constitution, not just to citizen led ballot initiatives.
Also post recording, Jules has listened to Brian Stewart's debate in front of the committee. In that debate, Brian Stewart mentions that he is the sole person who came up with the idea for the bill. Jules speculated, and may personally still believe that Brian may have been influenced by Center for Christian Value or Ohio Right to Life. Similar to how conservatives speculating Planned Parenthood being behind Erin's Law despite Erin's objections to those claims in testimony.
Brian also mentions in the debate that we had a bipartisan commission to research this topic and they recommended a change to 55%. This is true. They also recommended that ballot initiatives be done on even years, when national and state races occur leading to bigger voter turnouts. Jules notes that he'd be willing to compromise for 55% and requiring initiatives only being placed on the ballot on even numbered years. It's also why he still objects the Ohio GOP's attempt to push this through on May 2023's ballot.
Clarification on joking about groups/people being opposed to Erin's Law. I've told someone else before that their opposition to such a bill was suspect to me. The bill is designed to empower kids to have the ability to report people who may be assaulting them. And that someone is likely someone close to them. No joke; you can go search online to see people like youth pastors, clergy, police officers, teachers, scout leaders, family members, and other people that generally are given or have some authority over children abuse kids.
We also briefly touch on the change proposed to the Ohio Board of Education, as well as, briefly touching on the Club Q shooting in Colorado Springs.
In this episode, we discuss some polling from Emerson College poll. The weird cult-like speech from Trump's rally for JD Vance in Youngstown and Christian Nationalism with the Watchman Decree. We also briefly mention the furry panic.
In this episode, we cover a variety of topics like JD Vance coming to Pickaway County. Jules' big announcement that he's declared for write-in for Ohio District 12. We cover the Dark Brandon speech as well as 1/6 hearings briefly.
In our fifteenth episode of Roundtown Revolt, we went through all of the amendments and discussed whether we would keep, amend, or repeal each amendment. (Starts around 40 minutes)
We also covered a few topics that were current news at the time of recording (Blame Jules for being slow at editing).
In Ohio, a 10-year old girl had to go out of state to receive an abortion.
Man lit camper on fire and spray painted anarchist symbols on his garage was found guilty of insurance fraud.
Shinzo Abe was assassinated by a man because of Abe's connections to the Unification Church and his mother had made a lot of big donations to the Unification Church.
Boris Johnson resigned as Prime Minister (at the time of publication and editing Liz Truss is to replace Boris Johnson as Prime Minister).
Bring up the latest January 6th hearings. Mike Flynn pleading the fifth. What would have happened if "The Left" were to do 1/6.
We recorded this special episode on June 24, 2022, the day that Roe V. Wade was overturned.
In this special episode, Lady M gives her speech Dear Society, that we uploaded as a standalone video. We also break off into a few other things as it wouldn't be a Roundtown Revolt if we didn't go off on some weird tangents.
In this episode, Logan and Jules took a spin on "Gods, Guns, and Country" to talk about a wide range of subjects from religion, to several gun related topics, and then they discussed several trans related issues. Especially ones related to Ohio.
Our first episode in our series of Perverts of Prominence, focuses on one of our favorite Founding Fathers, the pimp daddy himself, Benjamin Franklin.
In this episode, we briefly bring up Twitch and it's connection to some recent shootings and the radicalization of impressionable people. Jules also brings up a content creator that he talked to in 2020 who he met from Twitch and hatewatching some of her recent content.
We then briefly bring up inflation before hitting the main topic of the podcast, Benjamin Franklin.
In this episode we cover some recent events around the time of recording earlier in the month of May. The big topic of this episode is covering the SC leak with Roe and the topic of abortions.

We're by no means experts on this subject. We'd like for people who are to potentially come on for when we start our second season.
The crew discuss a few LGBT issues that have been coming up in recent months due to culture wars. Such as the rush of "Don't Say Gay" bills, anti-trans sports bills and LGBT moral panics. We discuss these topics and try to find some sane level of compromise to some of the issues that have been polluting the public discourse lately.

With St. Patrick's Day happening this week, we decided to record a special episode covering some history of Ireland.
We discuss paganism, to St. Patrick, up until reformation. Then we cover the Irish potato famine.
When talking about the famine we bring up the Choctaw Nation's unique relationship with Ireland in that they donated money to Ireland to aid them during the famine. Ireland payed that spirit forward in 2020 when it came to the aid of the Hopi and Navajo tribes during the pandemic in the same spirit that Choctaw Nation had once aided them.
In this episode, we talk to Anthony, a friend of Jules' about a variety of topics primarily End Times Christianity and how conspiracy theories lead to division that allow "othering" of other human beings to allow atrocities.
Jules accidently cut the episode recording short. So we may have Anthony back on in the future to cover more of the content that we missed in recording this episode.

CW: This episode focuses primarily on the topic of domestic violence. Please understand that this episodes content may be hard to hear for some viewers.
In this episode, we discuss domestic violence. This topic was especially important because of the increases in domestic violence cases during the pandemic. Plus, Kanye West being in the news being a stalker.
We wanted to list some resources that are available if you are a victim of domestic abuse.

In this episode, we discuss moral panics like the Satanic Panic, Qanon and bring up conspiracies in our normal rambling, winding ways.
We mention some sensitive topics related to the Satanic Panic/Qanon, such as CSA and trafficking. We suggest that these issues be left to professionals who are trained to handle such cases.
