Monika Frías: Why True Creativity Means Breaking the Rules

Sometimes, the hardest thing as a creative isn’t learning the technical skills — it’s unlearning everything you were told about how life should look.

In this episode, I sit down with the incredible Monika Frías (@latxina) to talk about what it really means to be an artist in a world full of rules, expectations, and “programming.”

Monika shares her deeply personal journey of choosing freedom over formulas:

  • Leaving behind what didn’t serve her and starting fresh with just a suitcase
  • Why she refuses to let photography define who she is
  •  How doing “too many things”, weddings, videography, DJing, planning, actually makes her more creative
  • The thrill of starting something new when you have no idea what you’re doing
  • And why skipping the “rules” can lead you closer to the kind of art — and life — you’ve always wanted

This episode is raw, real, and deeply relatable for any photographer or creative who’s ever felt stuck in someone else’s version of success.

If you’ve been questioning your path or craving the courage to create on your own terms — this conversation will light a fire in you.

Transforming Your Mindset for Success

In this episode, I'll be sharing my personal journey, shedding light on the profound impact of mindset on achieving success and personal fulfillment.

When I first moved to the United States, I found myself perplexed by the notion of 'mindset.' However, as I delved deeper into its meaning and witnessed its effects through real-life examples and my own experiences, I gained so much understanding of its significance.

I discuss how our mindset shapes our perception of the world, our responses to failure, and our approach to challenges. I talk about the importance of taking risks, embracing failure as a stepping stone to success, and the liberating feeling that came my true passions. For me, this journey led to a transition into photography, a path I had long yearned to explore.

Additionally, I touch upon the concept of a 'mental gym' for mindset training, suggesting practical methods for honing this essential skill. Ultimately, I conclude with a motivational call to action, encouraging viewers to initiate positive transformations in their lives.

Join me on the journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Trust me, we'll unlock the potential of our mindsets and pave the way to a brighter future.

5.Come combatterla

Esploriamo insieme come fare. Sei pronto? Ascolta il mio podcast.

Fallire è bene: Master Your Mindset for Success

Investi gradualmente nell'attrezzatura e nella formazione, evitando spese eccessive all'inizio.

2. Utilizza motivazione e Passione come acceleratori

Esploriamo insieme come fare. Sei pronto?

3. Investire in formazione
