Living Beyond Survival With CEO of Against Domestic Abuse Ada Ibezi.
In today’s episode I talk to Ada Ibezi.
Ada is an award-winning international speaker, domestic abuse advocate, consultant, and trainer.
She is the Founder and CEO of Against Domestic Abuse in the UK and The Ada Ibezi Foundation in Nigeria, two powerful organisations devoted to breaking the silence surrounding domestic abuse and supporting women and children to heal, reclaim their voices, and thrive.
Ada works closely with the Metropolitan Police Service, where she currently serves as Chair of the Violence Against Women and Girls Independent Advisory Group. She also plays a key role in the MET’s Community Learning programme, regularly training police officers to provide survivor centred, compassionate support.
Through her work, Ada is helping to shift critical conversations, challenge the silence and stigma, and build bridges of trust between survivors and frontline services.
With a rich background in education and a profound commitment to holistic wellbeing, Ada offers a powerful blend of insight, empathy, and transformative leadership.
In this deeply moving and vital episode, we speak candidly about the delicate yet urgent topic of domestic abuse, a subject that demands both sensitivity and strength. Together, we explore the healing process, the importance of community, and the courageous path from survival to empowerment.
This conversation is one that not only raises awareness but aims to offer hope, resources, and understanding to anyone who needs it.
Ada’s mission is clear: to help others not just survive, but truly gain a new life and in sharing her story, she offers a guiding light for many.
