Ep 22: Take the Leap with Hannah Oh
Welcome back, everyone, to episode 22! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and an overall restful, happy end to the year. I want to thank you guys for supporting Seoulful Sisters' growth. Each one of you truly means a lot to me:) In today's episode, I sit down with Hannah Oh—founder of Article 6—to talk about what it really means to build impact inside (and outside) big systems. We discuss her leap from global corporate leadership to entrepreneurship, how food, climate, and policy quietly shape everyday life, and what it’s like to navigate ambition, motherhood, and uncertainty at once. A grounded, honest conversation about power, patience, and choosing long-term impact over loud success. Stay tuned for next week's episode with a female lawyer working from Silicon Valley! Ep 21: "Honest"-ly Redefining K-Jewelry
Welcome back to Episode 21! I’m so excited to welcome Ms. Choi, CEO of Honest Seoul, a luxury jewelry brand creating lab-grown diamond pieces both online and offline. What began as a single visit to Jongno Street—an antique district in Seoul brimming with master craftspeople—sparked her vision to spotlight often-overlooked talent within Korea’s beauty and fashion industry. That moment set her on a path not just to build a brand, but to challenge long-held assumptions about value, craftsmanship, and sustainability in a traditional market. This episode is for anyone seeking inspiration from bold women leading change with passion, intelligence, and vision. Whether you’re carving your own path or simply love stories of innovation and resilience, this conversation with Clara will leave you thinking bigger—guaranteed. Ep 19: The Creator of Scent-ful K-Heroes
Welcome back to Episode 19! Today, I sit down for a truly one-of-a-kind conversation with Hani Oh, the founder and perfumer behind Heroes of Korea—a niche fragrance brand that brings Korean historical figures to life through scent. From her earliest spark of inspiration to the creative process behind each perfume and the exciting projects on her horizon, Hani invites us on a vivid, imaginative journey of self-discovery and brand-building. I had never even heard of King Jeong-jo before this interview, but now I’m absolutely hooked on his legacy. I highly recommend hopping onto the Heroes of Korea website to explore these fascinating pieces of K-history for yourself. As Hani beautifully puts it, “Everyone is a hero.” Stay tuned for updates on our Instagram account @seoulfulsisters. See you soon with episode 20!

Ep 16: A Creative Engineer's Take: Designing A Life You Love
We’re back with Episode 16! In this episode, I had an absolute blast chatting with Emily Liu, a Berkshire School and Dartmouth College graduate who’s now working in biomedical engineering. From founding her high school’s first thrift store, Swap Shop, to co-leading Dartmouth’s Humanitarian Engineering Club, Emily has been blending creativity and STEM savvy since ninth grade. Our conversation reminded me that true innovation and self-discovery happen when we integrate the humanities, arts, math, and sciences—not when we isolate them. Whether you’re a high schooler, a college student, or a recent graduate like Emily, I hope this episode inspires you to embrace all sides of yourself and find balance beyond a one-dimensional path. Life is what you make of it! Follow Seoulful Sisters on Instagram @seoulfulsisters. Stay tuned for another exciting episode for next Sunday! Thanks so much for tuning in.

Ep 15: From Judge to Professor, Women in law!
Hey everyone! Welcome to Episode 15!I want to start by sincerely apologizing for missing last week’s upload and thanking you all for your patience. I’m truly honored to welcome Professor Nak Hee Hyun, who currently teaches Civil Procedure at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, South Korea. As a former judge, mother of two, and graduate of Yonsei University and Harvard Law School, Nak-Hee brings an incredibly balanced and insightful perspective on how to stay grounded while juggling multiple roles and responsibilities. Even if you’re not studying law, there’s so much in this episode for everyone — from reflections on identity and resilience to Nak-Hee’s thoughts on trusting your instincts (though not always!) over those spiraling thoughts we all know too well. Ep 14: Her Voice in the Public Sphere
Welcome back to Episode 14, where I have a fresh, French-infused conversation with Park Chung-Ah, Senior Program Manager of the OECD Asia State-Owned Enterprise Governance Program. We talk about everything from how subtle cultural norms shape policy implementation to how being trilingual transforms cross-national collaboration. And if you’ll excuse my rusty French, I hope this episode offers a fascinating glimpse into the people, ideas, and institutions—like the U.S.P.S. or Fannie Mae—that make our state-owned enterprises work beyond what we see on the surface. Ep 13: Baking Joy and French Desserts with Lee Juyeon
Today, I’m joined by Lee Juyeon, the owner of Leepicheep—a charming French-inspired bakery in Seoul known for its homemade, organic creations like tigres (small almond butter cake filled with chocolate), apple pies, and vegetable quiches. Built on the belief that desserts can be just as nourishing and satisfying as main courses when made with care and creativity, Leepicheep embodies balance, warmth, and joy. Lee doesn’t just bake delicious treats—she cultivates happiness and health through her commitment to premium ingredients, a cozy atmosphere, and her ever-bright smile. Talking with her reminded me how fulfilling it feels to simply follow what you love, without overthinking the future—whether that means reading in bed, revisiting an old piano piece, or listening to nostalgic songs. Treat yourself to a yummy dessert today! Maybe you'll find a nearby bakery selling tigres or quiches!   Stay tuned for Episode 14! Ep 12: Life in Full Swing!
It’s time for Episode 12!I never imagined I’d get the chance to sit down with a former world champion in women’s golf — but here I am with none other than Ryu Soyeon.  As fierce and competitive as she was on the course, Soyeon reveals a side of herself that’s calm, grounded, and deeply self-aware — qualities that now guide her everyday life. Once carrying the prestigious title of world champion, she’s learned to embrace life beyond the spotlight: lazy Sunday mornings, quirky hobbies, and late-night movies with family. In this episode, Soyeon shares not only her inspiring journey to becoming a global golf star, but also her beautifully reflective perspective on what it means to live fully, purposefully, and at peace in the next chapter of her life. Ep 10: Who Doesn't Love An All-Inclusive Gummy Vitamin?
I’m thrilled to be joined by Kim Sun-Kyung, the visionary CEO and founder of Wicked Lab—a brand redefining inner beauty and health with fun, innovative gummy vitamins for all ages. One simple thought sparked her journey: “Since we all have to take vitamins anyway, why not make the process enjoyable?” From that moment, Wicked Lab was born—offering nutrient-packed gummies that are not only healthy but irresistibly delicious, turning a daily routine into something people actually look forward to. Kim Sun-Kyung’s story is a powerful reminder that even the smallest realization can blossom into a movement—if you’re bold enough to chase it. Ep 8: The K-Culture Boom
Welcome back to the 8th episode of Seoulful Sisters! Today, I’m joined by Yesun Shin, head of global development at MakeStar — a leading K-pop commerce platform. While K-pop and K-culture’s explosive rise may seem sudden, it’s anything but. For decades, Korea has been shaping the global stage with polished idol groups, addictive dramas, flavorful cuisine, and cutting-edge beauty products. But behind the glitz lies a deeper truth: K-culture thrives on community. Without BTS’s ARMY, BLACKPINK’s BLINKs, or the passionate “GOLDEN” fandoms fueling media buzz, the Hallyu Wave would not exist. In this conversation, Yesun and I unpack how K-pop sustains its global influence — and what the future may hold for idols, fans, and the industry’s next chapter.

I don’t know about you, but I couldn’t stop imagining, smelling, and tasting her vibrant gimbap creations and globe-trotting culinary adventures. Summer reminds us that food is so much more than what’s on the plate—it’s a cultural bridge, an eye-opener, and a powerful lens for both self-discovery and deeper understanding of diverse identities. Ep 6: Baliness, A Wellness Method for Life
Today, I’m joined by Kim Jin-Hee, the founder and director of the Baliness Method in South Korea. Baliness is not your typical massage or physiotherapy—it’s a philosophy, a lifestyle, and a path to deep healing and restoration. By using the feet instead of hands to deliver rhythmic vibrations to the body, Kim Jin-Hee has pioneered a unique and intuitive method for releasing tension in muscles and connective tissue. In our brief yet insightful conversation, she shares the physical and emotional benefits of both practicing and receiving Baliness—whether as an instructor, a patient, or even among friends and family. Most of all, she highlights the comfort, trust, and relaxation that lie at the heart of this deeply human practice. Stay tuned for another episode coming out this weekend!
