You may not understand what God is doing in your life, but trust this: He’s sovereign over everything. Your call is to obey Him now, so you don’t miss what He’s preparing next. “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” – 1 Corinthians 14:33

This week’s message is all about eternal investment. Jesus calls us to store up treasure in heaven, not in things that fade, but in things that last forever. The truth is, we may never fully see the return on our time or our giving this side of eternity… but one day, we will. And when we do, it’ll be worth every second and every sacrifice. In this week’s message, Saul once again shows us what happens when you lead without trusting God. His foolish oath brings trouble, causes the people to sin, and nearly costs his son Jonathan his life. Disobedience always leads to chaos, but wisdom begins with trusting what God has already revealed in His Word and in Jesus. Don’t follow Saul’s example, follow Christ.

In 1 Samuel 14, Jonathan and his armor-bearer take a bold leap of faith. Just the two of them against a Philistine army. But with hearts fully entrusted to God, their small step led to a miraculous victory. When faith is activated through prayer and right motives, the impossible becomes possible. Don’t wait for the numbers, trust God, step out, and believe for the miraculous.

Victory doesn’t come from numbers or strength; it comes from bold faith in a powerful God. This week’s message is a call to trust in God’s sovereignty and step out with courage, even when the odds are stacked against you. Faith is what turns the tide. Be bold. Be obedient. Let God fight your battles.

In Matthew 6, Jesus reminds us that if God cares for the birds and flowers, He’ll surely care for us too. His faithfulness isn’t just comforting; it’s our defense against anxiety. But when we don’t trust Him, we risk missing out on His promises and misrepresenting His goodness to the world. Let’s live lives that show peace is possible, because we know who holds tomorrow.

As Saul returns home after being anointed, we see how God’s Spirit leads through prophecy, calling, and obedience. This journey isn’t just about Saul, it’s about how the Spirit works in all of us. Don’t limit what God can do. Seek His Spirit and walk in obedience, you never know what He’s preparing you for.

The world offers a lot of false hope, but in Christ, we have a hope that’s unshakable. 1 Peter 1:3-9 reminds us that our hope isn’t wishful thinking; it’s a guarantee from the God who has never broken a promise. Put your hope in Jesus, you won’t be disappointed.

In 1 Samuel 7:15–8:22, Israel chooses a human king over God, trading divine leadership for something they could see and control. It’s a powerful reminder of the tension between trusting God’s rule and giving in to the world’s ways. Don’t let fear or pressure lead you to crown something else king. God is the only one truly worthy of that throne.
