New year, same struggles?
The problem isn’t the calendar—it’s which “but” we follow.
"But I " keeps us stuck in excuses and limitations.
"But God " changes the story.
Psalm 73 reminds us: real transformation doesn’t come from fixing the outside, but from meeting God in the middle of our frustration. The gospel itself is a “But God” story—lost, broken, dead… but God intervened.
This year, don’t live from “but I can’t.”
Live from “but God can.”
God is bigger than your "but".
We live in a world full of noise—but God still speaks in thequiet.
Jesus often withdrew to lonely places to pray, showing us arhythm of retreat and return. In an age of constant distraction, solitude isn’toptional—it’s essential.
“Come away with me…and you’ll recover your life.”

Jesus didn’t arrive late—He arrived with purpose.
In raising Lazarus, Jesus shows He is not only compassionate, but powerful over death itself. He weeps with us, feels our pain, and still calls life out of the grave. This isn’t just about future resurrection—it’s about believing that Jesus is present, powerful, and restoring now.
“I am the resurrection and the life.”
When the storms of life hit hard, Jesus doesn’t shout from a distance—He walks into the storm to meet you. Just like on the Sea of Galilee, His words still carry power: “Do not be afraid. I am with you.” You are never unseen, never alone, and never without hope.
Ek is by jou.’
Jesus doesn’t just perform miracles—He reveals who He truly is.
In John 6, the feeding of the 5,000 is more than a supernatural moment; it’s a sign pointing to Jesus as the Messiah, the Good Shepherd, the Passover Lamb, and the Bread of Life. He sees our needs before we speak them, cares with compassion, and multiplies even the smallest offering. When Jesus reigns, lack disappears. Come to Him with your hunger—He is more than enough.

Jesus heals the nobleman’s son — but the greater miracle is that the nobleman and his household come to believe. This teaching reminds us that Jesus is not only powerful, but deeply personal. He sees us, knows us, and calls us to trust Him beyond what we can see.
