Amazing! Exploring Hidden Treasures of England's History

🇬🇧 Stepping away from London and entering the deep British countryside felt like slipping into another century — three towns, three eras, and a treasure trail of antiques I’ve never seen before. This film documents my historic trail through Petworth, Tetbury, and Arundel — three iconic English towns shaped by royalty, artists, and eccentric collectors. Along the way, I explored legendary antique shops, local artisans, estate sales, and hidden corners that most tourists completely miss.Amazing! Exploring Hidden Treasures of England's History🇬🇧 PETWORTH — (1086) The Town That Houses a Million-Dollar SecretPetworth appears in the *Domesday Book of 1086, but its greatest surprise lies inside Petworth House.Startling fact: It holds one of the largest Turner painting collections in the world — created specifically because Turner practically lived with the Earl here.Anecdote: Locals still talk about how Turner would vanish into the mist for days, painting Petworth’s skies before breakfast and dining with nobility by night.Shopping: Petworth’s Market Town alleys hide high-value estate silver, 18th-century prints, and rare porcelain.🇬🇧 TETBURY — (681 CE) The Ancient Wool Town Turned Antique CapitalFounded in 681 CE, Tetbury once powered England’s medieval wool economy.Startling fact: Its famous Chipping Steps were used for centuries by wool merchants who taxed sheep by the number of footsteps they climbed.Anecdote: Many antique dealers in Tetbury still operate from former wool barns — you can literally shop under original 1600s beams.Shopping: Serious antique hunters call Tetbury “the Cotswolds vault” — furniture, maps, royal-era curios.🇬🇧 ARUNDEL — (1067) The Town Built Around a Castle from the Year After 1066Arundel Castle was first established in 1067, barely a year after the Norman Conquest.Startling fact: The castle has been continuously inhabited for nearly 1,000 years by the same noble family line — one of the longest in Europe.Anecdote: Antique sellers around the Arundel High Street still find castle-related trinkets turning up in attic clearances and estate boxes.Shopping: Arundel is full of quirky mid-century glassware, old British signage, second-hand books, and Victorian objects.

Through an Indian Lens: Walking Inside London’s Paradox

London 2025: The City That Rewrites Its Own StoryI walked through London in 2025 — a city still split between velvet and concrete, a paradox between heritage and hustle. From Mayfair’s silent elegance to Camden’s rain-soaked rebellion, this London is a living museum of contrasts.

This time, I felt a shift — more caution, more control. I found myself avoiding random cabs, sticking to Black Cabs, watching over my phone, noticing a city that feels both familiar and foreign.Through an Indian Lens: Walking Inside London’s Paradox — it’s strange how the city that once mapped us now maps itself.

Colonial echoes hide in antiques, menus, and museums; the empire’s ghosts now hang politely behind glass. At 34 Mayfair, dinner felt like theatre — art on porcelain, jazz in the air, and choreography in every gesture. In Soho, the neon hasn’t dimmed but has changed tone — rebellion polished into aesthetic. And in Portobello, antiques whisper of empire — old maps of India, silver cutlery, forgotten crests.

The ghosts of empire now hang behind glass, traded as collectibles in a city that sells its past as style. From Fortnum & Mason’s polished civility to Camden’s smoky edge, this isn’t the London of postcards. It’s a city editing itself — balancing luxury with grit, nostalgia with neon, memory with modernity.

Somewhere between tea on every corner and jazz at dinner, I realised — London doesn’t evolve, it rewrites its story every night.Don't forget to like, share & subscribe the video.

The MOST ICONIC Brands that MADE India

Note – This special episode includes commentary on the legend Ratan Tata and was shot before October 9th, 2024.

The MOST ICONIC Brands that MADE India is a candid and wide-ranging conversation with Suhel Seth – a name that is controversial, cerebral, and painfully brutal. An adman, brand strategist, political commentator, and public intellectual, Suhel has spent decades shaping and observing India’s public discourse.

He opens up on everything from old-school advertising and the future of media, to branding giants like Ratan Tata and India’s corporate culture. If you're curious about how iconic Indian brands were built, this episode explores brand identity, legacy, judgment, and leadership.

We also explore:

  • The evolution of Indian advertising

  • Tata Group’s global legacy

  • The impact of Indian industry on nation building

  • The media’s changing role and narrative control

  • Suhel’s take on India’s political and cultural shifts

As Managing Partner of Counselage India, Suhel Seth wears many hats: columnist, keynote speaker, actor, marketing consultant, and chairman of marketing committees at CII and FICCI. He is also part of the Indian Railway Board’s Experts Committee. His views are as bold as they are nuanced.

An alum of La Martinière Calcutta and St. Joseph’s Nainital, Suhel Seth later studied at Jadavpur University, and went on to become one of India’s most well-known brand voices.
