Georges Berscheid est le co-fondateur et CTO de Mpulse, un spécialiste du routage télécom et des micropaiements, et de Finologee, le premier opérateur de plateforme financière numérique du Luxembourg. Il a ouvert la voie aux FinTech "made in Luxembourg" en lançant et en dirigeant une variété de sociétés et de produits au cours des 15 dernières années.
Quant à Tim De Boeck, il est architecte de solutions chez Noname Security. Il conseille les clients sur les meilleures pratiques en matière de technologie et de processus pour atténuer les risques provenant des applications et des API. Avant Noname Security, Tim a occupé des postes similaires chez Palo Alto Networks et IBM, avec 25 ans d'expérience dans la sécurité informatique et l'architecture de sécurité d'entreprise.

3 millions et demi. C'est le nombre de postes vacants dans la sécurité à l’échelle mondiale aujourd’hui d’après une étude du cabinet d’audit PwC. Pour pallier cette pénurie les écoles d’ingénieurs ont fait de la cybersécurité un tronc commun ou une spécialité depuis plusieurs années tandis que d’autres lancent de nouvelles formations comme c’est le cas au Luxembourg à partir de septembre 2021.

In a 2017 study into female representation in the cyber security industry, Kaspersky Lab delved into an industry where only 11 percent of the professionals were women. The study showed that, contrary to the widespread notion that women did not possess the necessary skillsets, they were in fact equipped with all they needed to excel in these positions already.
Based on this observation we asked Virginia Da Cunha, Deputy Cybersecurity Operations Centre Manager at Excellium Services and Jelena Zelenovic President of the association ‘Women Cyber Force’ about the importance of gender diversity and equality in cybersecurity.
