***TOP 1% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST *** The Go-To Podcast for Busy, Christian Moms Who Want to Get More Done and Still Be Present With Their Family! Are you constantly trying out new daily routines that have you juggling house chores and cramming in work during nap times? Do you feel guilty when your kiddos invite you to play, but by the time you’ve told them ’just a minute,’ ’hang on,’ or ’let me finish this’, the day has slipped away with no intentional focused time together at all? Does your brain feel like it will never just SHUT OFF with your continuously running to-do list? I’m SO excited you’re here!! This podcast will help you create simple systems, daily routines, and time management strategies to feel more productive in your days so you can balance running a home AND being fully present for your kiddos. Hey, I’m KyAnn. A mom, wife, and Jesus lover. For too many years, I let my habits just sort of happen without much intention or thought. I felt constantly behind and I was trying to do it all, but doing NONE of it well. I was chasing business success, achievements, and hustle culture that stole my time and mental health so I didn’t have any extra energy to devote to building intentional habits that kept my priorities in the RIGHT order. I finally realized that if I was going to balance motherhood and homemaking well, I had to find simple routines and systems to serve me in the season I was in. I created daily rhythms for our family that reflected my priorities and helped me tackle my to-do list, all while allowing me to be fully present with my kiddos - simple systems that when practiced well, even allowed extra time to work on my business during the cracks of time during the day. And now I’m ready to share it all with you! If you are ready to finally find a routine that works for you…steps to feel more balanced and less overwhelmed in your days as a busy mom…systems that give you your time back, help you to be more present with the people you love most, and finally get your brain to just RELAX-this podcast is for you! Pop in your single AirPod (mom friends, you know you do this, too!), grab your iced coffee, it’s time to find your rhythm! 155 | The #1 Lie High Achievers Believe
There’s a lie almost every high-achieving mom believes at some point: “I’ll figure this out after this launch…after this season…after things slow down.” In this episode, we’re naming that cycle for what it really is—borrowing from future you to survive today. If you feel successful on paper but stretched thin in real life, this conversation will put language to the tension you’ve been carrying. We’ll walk through three foundational truths that change everything. I’ll also invite you to consider one small “micro yes”—the support, rhythm, or boundary you keep canceling that your future self is quietly begging you to keep. This episode is for the mom who knows something needs to shift and doesn’t want her life to be held hostage by her business anymore. And it’s exactly why Rhythms That Scale exists—not to add more to your plate, but to help you finally live within your capacity as you grow. I pray this episode encourages you! 154 | You’re Not Unpresent. You’re Over-Connected.
I had a conversation recently with a highly successful business owner and mom of two who put words to something I hear all the time. She told me it feels like she’s constantly switching personas—one minute she’s deeply in client work, fully focused and solving problems, and the next she’s standing in the kitchen trying to cook dinner and connect with her kids…while her brain is still completely stuck in work mode. She’s building the business she set out to build. She’s hitting big goals. And at the same time, she feels overstimulated, scattered, and frustrated because even though she’s physically with her kids, mentally she’s still answering messages, thinking about client problems, and running through the rest of her to-do list. That tension—between work mode and mom mode—is what we’re unpacking here, along with why it’s not a presence problem at all, but a transition problem, and what actually helps your brain move from one role to the next without burning you out. I pray this episode encourages you! 153 | How to Simplify Your To-Do List
If you feel like your to-do list never actually gets done—just rewritten day after day—this episode is for you. We’re unpacking why traditional to-do lists quietly drain your mental energy, how unfinished tasks create constant “open loops” in your brain, and why that low-grade stress makes it feel like you’re never caught up. You’ll learn why the issue isn’t productivity or discipline, but the way your tasks are being stored, prioritized, and surfaced to your brain in the first place. In this episode, I introduce a shift from managing tasks to running an operating system—one that reflects how your brain works, supports long-term goals, and creates space for both business and life rhythms without overwhelming you. We’ll talk about how to organize work that matters now versus later, how to park ideas without losing them, and how to move out of reactive mode into a proactive, grounded way of operating. If you’re building toward big goals for 2026 and feeling the strain of holding everything in your head, this conversation will help you rethink how you manage your work, your energy, and your capacity—and why a simple to-do list may no longer be enough. I pray this episode encourages you! 152 | How to Prepare Intentionally for 2026 Goals
Have you ever packed away the Christmas decorations, swept up the last bit of glitter, and felt that quiet drop of “okay…now what?” In this episode, we’re talking about that familiar post-holiday feeling—when the coziness fades and life slips back into routines that don’t always feel life-giving. Especially if you’re someone who’s been living for the next launch, the next break, or the next milestone, that return to “normal” can feel discouraging. This conversation is about how to move into 2026 with intention instead of resignation, and how to make even the everyday feel more aligned and sustainable. We’ll walk through how to identify the underlying friction points that make life feel overwhelming—whether that’s at home or in your business—and why lasting change doesn’t start with doing more, but with noticing what’s actually causing the tension. You’ll learn how your thoughts shape your feelings and actions, why vision is the true starting point for sustainable change, and how small mindset and rhythm shifts can create real margin in your daily life. If you’re craving a simpler, more grounded way to enter the new year—one that reflects your real priorities—this episode will help you take the first step.   I pray this episode encourages you! 151 | Memos in the Margins: I WON’T Do This Next Year
In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, we’re talking about what not to repeat next Christmas and how small reflections now can create a lighter, more intentional holiday later. This episode focuses on noticing what felt heavy, what worked well, and how simple 1% shifts can meaningfully change the experience of the season—not by doing more, but by adjusting what already exists. You’ll learn how to capture notes for your future self, make small preparations that ease next year’s load, and turn those “please never let me do this again” moments into clarity instead of frustration. It’s a practical, low-pressure way to reflect on capacity, name what you want more of, and set yourself up for a Christmas that actually supports your life. I pray this episode encourages you! 150 | How to Say No This Holiday Season…Even When Everything Feels Like a ‘Good Thing’
The holiday season fills up fast, especially for high-achieving entrepreneur moms who are used to carrying a lot. In this episode, I talk about why the real issue isn’t time—it’s energy. Every invitation, responsibility, and “good thing” pulls from a limited reserve, and when we say yes to everything, we often end up drained, overextended, and unable to actually enjoy the season with our people. I share why every “yes” is also a “no,” how to recognize when your capacity is being stretched too thin, and why protecting your energy is essential in this season. We also build on the holiday “To DON’T” list from the last episode and apply it specifically to your energy and capacity. I walk through how to say no to good things without guilt, set boundaries that actually stick, and release the pressure to make everything perfect. Saying no isn’t about missing out—it’s about creating space for rest, presence, and peace, so you can show up fully for what matters most and truly experience the season instead of just surviving it. I pray this episode encourages you! 149 | My Current Holiday To-DON’T List
The holidays have a way of quietly piling on expectations — more traditions, more events, more spending, more pressure to make everything magical. In today’s episode, I’m inviting you into a different approach: creating a Holiday To-Don’t List. Instead of asking yourself what else you can squeeze in, we’re talking about how to intentionally protect your capacity so you can actually enjoy this season. I’m sharing why this practice has become a non-negotiable for me as a mom and business owner, and how saying no to the right things has completely changed how December feels in our home. We’ll walk through what a Holiday To-Don’t List really is, why trying to do it all leaves you drained and disconnected, and how social media often fuels expectations that don’t align with real life. I’m also sharing specific examples of what I’m choosing not to do this year and why each one creates more margin for what matters most. If you’ve ever ended the holidays exhausted, wondering where the joy went, this episode is your permission slip to slow down, simplify, and build a holiday rhythm that honors your values, your family, and your capacity. I pray this episode encourages you! 148 | How to Create a Family Culture of Hospitality During the Little Years w/ Renee Higgins
Have you ever felt a pull to open your home more often — to create a place of connection, comfort, and belonging — but weren’t sure where to begin? In today’s episode, I’m sitting down with someone who has inspired me deeply over the years: Renee Higgins. Renee is a wife of eleven years, homeschool mama to five little ones (including toddler twins!), and a woman who embodies biblical hospitality in the most simple, faithful, and approachable way. She shares practical rhythms, gentle mindset shifts, and the small-but-powerful habits that make welcoming others into your home feel not just doable, but genuinely life-giving. We also dig into the heart of hospitality — why it matters, how Scripture shapes the way we open our homes, and what it looks like to build a family culture rooted in generosity and presence rather than performance or perfection. Renee’s perspective is refreshing and deeply encouraging, reminding us that meaningful hospitality doesn’t require a spotless home or elaborate meals. It begins with a posture of openness, a willingness to serve, and an understanding that our homes can be a ministry in the everyday moments. If you’ve longed to make hospitality a more natural rhythm in your family’s life, this conversation will give you both the practical tools and the encouragement to start right where you are. I pray this episode encourages you! Hugs!   -KyAnn   Mentions: Follow Renee on IG: @renee_elisabethh   *DM me for details on the limited Rhythms that Scale spots opening in December! 147 | Memos in the Margins: Capacity & Stretching
Have you ever noticed how your capacity grows most in the moments that stretch you — not sweep you under? In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing a recent high-ticket investment I made and how it reminded me that real growth often feels uncomfortable, but in a grounded, steady way. We’re talking about the balance between a healthy push and slipping into survival mode, and why that difference matters so much.  Inside the episode, I share how rhythms, planning, and knowing your capacity make these stretch moments easier. We talk about Parkinson’s Law, power-hour focus, and how small stretches expand what you can handle. I also share a reminder I hold onto — that my business is more successful now, homeschooling three kids and working far fewer hours than before motherhood. That didn’t come from hustling harder…it came from aligning my time with my priorities and stretching my capacity wisely. If something in this episode spoke to you, tag me on Instagram or send me a DM — I’d love to hear what resonated most as I plan out 2026 content. I pray this episode encourages you! 146 | Inviting Others In to Your Holiday Rhythms & Traditions
Have you ever wished you had more meaningful holiday traditions but felt unsure where to start — or worried you were already “behind”? In today’s episode, we’re diving into the heart of holiday rhythms and simple, everyday hospitality. I’m sharing a few of our own experiences from this season, from spontaneous moments with friends to Thanksgiving morning memories with family. What surprised me most this year is how often new traditions are born simply by trying something once…and realizing it’s exactly the kind of legacy you want your family to grow up with. We’ll talk about how rhythms create the mental capacity to say yes to new traditions, how to remove the barriers that make hospitality feel intimidating, and why inviting others in doesn’t have to be fancy, elaborate, or perfectly planned. In fact, the holidays are one of the easiest times to practice everyday hospitality — the kind that feels warm, simple, and achievable in any home. If you’ve ever wanted to start your own traditions, open your doors a little wider, or create a season that feels more connected and less chaotic, this episode will give you the encouragement (and the permission) to begin right where you are. I pray this episode encourages you! 145 | Memos in the Margins: Making Your Own Traditions
Have you ever had one of those holiday moments that instantly transports you back to your own childhood—the kind that reminds you why traditions matter in the first place? In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m recording live from a totally spontaneous movie adventure turned date day with the kids (complete with potty break commentary), and I’m sharing some reflections from our Thanksgiving week. We started a few brand-new traditions this year and they stirred up so much nostalgia for me. It made me realize how deeply I want to create those same pockets of magic, coziness, and connection for my own kids—and how much joy there is in being the gatekeeper of the memories they’ll carry into adulthood. I’m also sharing a little Black Friday story from the drive-thru that reminded me how rhythms create space for moments we never could’ve planned for. The truth is, the only reason I could pause, lean in, and embrace that moment for my husband was because our life rhythms gave us the margin to do it. If you’ve been craving more intentional traditions, more presence, or more freedom to savor simple family moments, I think this episode will gently remind you that rhythm creates room—and that you get to shape the story your family will remember. I pray this episode encourages you! 144 | How to Notice When You Fall Back Into Hustle Culture with Jess Massey of Hustle Sanely
Have you ever tried to slow down, get organized, or create healthier rhythms…only to feel yourself slipping right back into hustle mode at the first sign of stress? If so, today’s episode is going to feel like such a breath of fresh air. I’m joined by the lovely Jess Massey — host of The Hustle Sanely Podcast, creator of the Peacefully Productive Planner®, and founder of the community-centered brand Hustle Sanely®. Jess shares a vulnerable, behind-the-scenes look at her journey with hustle culture, what her life looked like before building Hustle Sanely®, and the real shifts that helped her move from burnout to peaceful productivity. She also opens up about the moments she found herself drifting back toward hustle culture and how she continues to realign her values, her rhythms, and her priorities in every new season. We talk about the practical side of building a peacefully productive life — what it looks like to simplify your days, say no to the right things, and make choices that honor your well-being, your work, and your relationships. Jess shares examples from motherhood, marriage, and entrepreneurship, the boundaries she protects even when others don’t always understand, and why progress (not perfection) is the real secret to sustainable change. If you’ve ever wished you could work hard without burning out, be present without feeling behind, or build a life that feels both productive and peaceful, you’re going to feel so encouraged by this conversation. 143 | Memos in the Margins: Information Isn’t Enough
Have you ever found yourself with all the information you need — the plans, the ideas, the clarity — but still not getting the results you want because you never carved out the time to actually implement? In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing an inside peek at how I structure my CEO days and the simple rhythms that help me move from knowing what to do to actually doing it. We’ll talk through the behind-the-scenes planning, the way I set up my work blocks, and why implementation — not more knowledge — is the real difference between success and staying stuck. We’ll also dive into the fears and mindsets that quietly keep us from taking that first step: wanting to stay comfortable, overthinking what happens after the next move, and assuming it has to be all-or-nothing. You’ll hear why breaking things down into one small action is not just enough — it’s exactly what I recommend. If you’ve ever felt frustrated by the gap between what you know and what you actually carry out, this episode will help you name your friction point, simplify your next step, and finally build momentum toward the results you’ve been craving. 142 | The Hidden Habit That Keeps Moms in Survival Mode (And How to Break It Before the New Year)
If you’ve ever reached the end of the day wondering why you’re so exhausted when nothing “big” even happened, this episode is for you. Today, we’re unpacking the hidden habit that quietly drains your mental capacity, keeps you stuck in survival mode, and makes even normal days feel overwhelming. I’m sharing a real-life moment from this week when our whole day got thrown off, and how decision fatigue almost pulled me right back into old patterns. We’ll walk through what decision fatigue actually looks like in mom-life, why it keeps you reactive instead of present, and the one simple practice you can start today that begins to break the cycle. I’m also giving you a gentle peek into something really exciting happening this week — our biggest sale of the entire year — and why now is the perfect time if you’ve been craving a roadmap to finally reset your rhythms and routines. If you’re tired of feeling like you’re constantly catching up, I pray this episode helps you breathe a little deeper, see what’s really been pulling you into survival mode, and feel hopeful about the simple shifts that can change everything. 141 | “I Was Either Ignoring My Kids or Ignoring My House…” Breaking the All-or-Nothing Cycle with Simple, Sustainable Rhythms w/ Micaiah Gray
Have you ever felt stuck in that exhausting cycle where you’re either fully present with your kids but your house is falling apart, or you’re finally catching up on dishes and laundry but feeling guilty because it’s coming at the cost of being with your babies? That tug-of-war can make motherhood feel heavier than it needs to be, which is why I’m so excited to have one of my incredible DIY course students on the show today. She’s a mama of two little ones just 16 months apart who joined the course after a big move, a stressful health crisis with her son and hitting that point where trying to DIY everything simply wasn’t working anymore. In this episode, she shares how she went from living in constant overwhelm to finding sustainable rhythms that brought peace and margin back into her home. We talk about the simple systems that helped her finally get caught up on dishes and laundry after years of feeling behind, how she closed her kitchen every night for the first time ever and even hosted Thanksgiving without cleaning until the moment guests arrived. If you’re tired of the chaos and wondering whether a peaceful home is really possible in the season you’re in, I pray this conversation gives you so much hope. I pray this episode encourages you! 140 | I Quit Social Media for 18 Months: My Biggest Struggle Being Back (Social Media Update)
Have you ever noticed how easy it is for your phone to steal the quiet moments of your day without you even realizing it? For the longest time, I felt like social media was constantly pulling at my attention—and honestly, I needed a full reset. After being off social media completely for 18 months, I’ve spent the last six months slowly reintroducing it into my life. In this episode, I’m sharing what that’s looked like, what I’ve learned, and the rhythms that are helping me stay grounded and present. From what I’m loving to what’s not working, to the tools and boundaries (like my Brick for my phone) that help me step away with intention, this episode is all about creating space for peace in a world that’s always connected. If you’ve ever found yourself craving more focus, more stillness, or just a healthier relationship with your phone, I hope this conversation reminds you that you can be intentional about how you spend your time—and it really can change everything. I pray this episode encourages you! 139 | Memos in the Margins: Our BIGGEST Marriage Conflict
Marriage is one of those areas that can quietly slip to the bottom of the list when life gets full—kids, work, routines, and everything in between. For years, Mat and I have circled around some of the same conflicts, often meaning the same thing but hearing each other differently. This past weekend, we attended our very first marriage conference, and it gave us so much clarity, connection, and a few simple rhythms we’re bringing back into our daily life. In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing some of the biggest takeaways that truly blessed our marriage—simple reminders about communication, prayer, and choosing to build rather than tear down in the ordinary moments. From realizing that we can use the same vocabulary but not the same dictionary, to seeing how prayer can fill the quiet spaces of our day, this conversation is full of gentle encouragement to invest in your marriage, even when it’s not convenient, because it’s always worth it. I pray this episode encourages you! 138 | What It Really Takes to Build a 7-Figure Business in 10 Hours a Week w/ Lindsay Bowden
So many moms step into business with a dream of being more present at home, only to find themselves busier than ever. But what if you could build a business that’s both thriving and peaceful—without the constant hustle? In this episode, we’re diving into what it really looks like to grow a profitable business that supports your family, instead of competing with it. You’ll walk away with practical encouragement for building wealth and generosity, stewarding your gifts well, and creating a business that runs with freedom and purpose. My guest today is Lindsay Bowden—a former high school math teacher turned homeschool mom and seven-figure entrepreneur. Lindsay started her business during naptime, selling teacher resources online, and has since built a thriving company that she now runs in just 10 hours a week while homeschooling her kids. Today, she helps other teachers use their skills to create additional income online, showing them what’s possible when they build with both strategy and purpose. I pray this episode encourages you! 137 | Memos in the Margins: This Is Out of My Comfort Zone
This year has reminded me just how powerful it is to have people who show up for you in different ways—the friends who cheer you on through Voxer messages and the ones who sit beside you at a retreat or coffee table. God has been teaching me that both are deeply valuable, and together, they form the kind of community that strengthens not only your heart but your calling. In this Memos in the Margins episode, I’m reflecting on what He’s been doing in my heart after a recent in-person retreat and a whirlwind month of travel. I’m sharing what it’s looked like to build both virtual and in-person friendships, how getting out of my comfort zone has changed me, and what finally helped me move out of the stagnant seasons in business. If you’ve been longing for deeper connection or wondering how to find your people in this season, this episode is an encouragement to start where you are—and trust that God can meet you in both the digital and the physical spaces. I pray this episode encourages you! 136 | The Order that Stops Burnout (and Finally Makes Rhythms Stick)
If you’ve ever tried to fix the chaos by starting five new routines at once—only to give up two days in—you’re going to want to hear this. In this special behind-the-scenes episode, I’m sharing a clip from my Rhythm Reset Workshop where we talk about the right order to build your rhythms. Because the truth is, it’s not about doing more—it’s about doing things in the right sequence so your systems actually support you instead of draining you. This framework has been the missing piece for so many women trying to serve their homes and businesses well. If you’ve been craving structure that lasts, this will help you see exactly where to start and how to build momentum that sticks. I pray this episode encourages you!
