For those who find it difficult to pray, not always finding the words to say... like I, a lot of times still do. But it’s okay. For those just needing to hear and have agreement in prayer, it’s easier to do it together. Or those who just can’t seem to find the time, just listen and pray while you’re commuting or when you have a free moment to spare. The prayers are sometimes raw, sometimes focused on a particular issue or subject. Either way, God still cares and hears us.
So, are heavy burdens weighing you down? Feeling sad, angry or lonely? Or testings, troubles and temptations getting you into a conundrum (a complicated problem)? All these can have us feeling hopeless at times, but God will hear you even if you can’t speak the words you want to say. They don’t have to be so eloquent or flow smoothly and effortlessly. The Lord knows what you mean. He understands our heart cries. Even our groans...Romans 8:26-27 says, ”In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” (NIV) ”And the Father Who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is sayin, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” (NLT)
So if you hear me humin’, singin’ or even groaning, don’t think it strange. I’m just praying in the Spirit. Please don’t be afraid or taken aback if you hear a little excitement in my voice, I’m just caught up in the joy, goodness or power of the Holy Spirit. I Hope you’re uplifted and encouraged in some way throughout our times of prayer. Now join me as I join my heart with the Lord’s heart this morning..Let’s Pray!

Well God's beloved people, we are well into the Christmas and advent season. I know you have been busy shopping for those special gifts for your loved ones.This is the season of giving, but there is no greater gift than the gift of Christ our Savior and inclusive, with Him as our gift, we will also get peace, comfort, joy and eternal life.

Praise the Lord everyone and happy advent season! This is the most wonderful time of the year for me, especially because everybody is celebrating; they seem to be so happy, hearts are light and everyone is looking forward to getting together with family and friends to celebrate our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Not everyone is focused on celebrating Him and His coming but they can't get away from it. It's everywhere. They're hearing about Him, seeing all the nativities displayed, listening and singing songs about His coming to earth and so we just love this time of year. The prayers I'm going to be praying this month and advent season are based on the Christmas story from the book of Luke.
Todays focus and meditative scripture for the week is Luke chapter 1, verses 1-25 then verses 57-79.
Lord we thank You for the promised gift, that is an eternal and every day gift, but that we especially take at this time of year to focus on. That gift is the person, our Lord Jesus, the Christ!

Today I will be praying the Lord's Prayer. This is part 1. The Holy Spirit had me parked on, Thine kingdom come for a minute...or two. This is a model prayer. We all know about this prayer, the Lord's Prayer. Of course, when I say this prayer, I say it according to how the Holy Spirit leads me and according to whatever is going on in my life at the time; In our relationships, circumstances and situations the Holy Spirit prays through us to let the Father know what we need. What is compassion really? Is it the same as sympathy or empathy; feeling sorry for a person? I believe it's all of those and more. Overall, it's a strong love that feels and acts in accordance with the sorrow, pain or suffering someone else is experiencing. Let's see and pray what the Word of God says about it. Moreover, how Jesus, Who is the Word of God expresses it towards us. Lord, give me a heart of compassion.

Give me a forgiving heart. That is our prayer today. It is a command from the Lord that we forgive one another. And I don't know about you, but I find myself having to do this over and over. Sometimes with the same people, family, church folk, friends etc. But as I grow and learn and my heart is being transformed and conformed to God's will so that I am becoming more like Him, I am gaining a divine and even practical understanding of why it is necessary. In short, we can't have a right relationship with God if we don't have one with the people we see face to face.

Hi, this is Cher and I'm ready to pray, stand in agreement and intercede for any and all who join us and listen in. For the next few weeks, I'll be praying for the Lord to conform and transform our hearts. We need our hearts strengthened. We are taking in too much of the world's garbage. Especially by way of negative news, negative social media and we are even dirtying ourselves by sending and receiving unwholesome communication out of our mouths about and with each other. So let's pray and ask the Lord to purify our hearts. Remember what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 5:8 - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God!

God is still in control y'all. Be assured that we can rest in Him. Even in those situational issues that never seem to end. Even when those fiery darts just won't stop flying your way. God is in control beloved people! This week's prayer is raw, but slower paced. The Holy Ghost was praying differently this particular day. So for those who have an ear to hear, hear what the Spirit is saying to you today! God nor the Holy Spirit is limited in their power. So whenever you're praying and making your requests known before God, understand that your concerns, petitions and cries are not falling on deaf ears and nothing is too hard for our God.

As I was praying the Lord laid a word from Isiah 61 on my heart and this is what He says in verse 3, I will grant to those who mourn in Zion an ornament of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment praise instead of a heavy burden. Those are beautiful words of comfort to me and anyone who needs it. I don't know what you may be going through right now, but look to the Lord our God. He is waiting to hear from you so he can help you...Let's take it to the Lord in prayer.
