Finally, NCAA tournament hopes for volleyball diminish - but are not dashed yet - after conference tournament semifinal loss to Tulsa.
What a couple of back-to-back nights on campus, with women's basketball winning an 85-72 game vs. Duke and volleyball - and its just announced back-to-back Conference player of the year Maria Clara Andrade - staving off Charlotte to advance to the American semis. Darek also has highlights of the men's basketball game at Oklahoma State Wednesday, with a trio scoring 20 or more but the Cowboys prevailing 103-95. And longtime men's soccer coach Bob Butehorn announces his retirement.
Jim Lighthall, Darek Sharp and Joey Johnston get you set for Saturday's game at UAB, after a quick recap of the difficult loss at Navy - but also an explanation of how the Bulls' hopes for a conference championship are not yet over. Hear plenty on the Blazers, and from Bulls coordinators Joel Gordon and Todd Orlando.
What a game, unfortunately one the Bulls came out just short in, 41-38 at Navy. Darek Sharp, Caylee Cottrell and Joey Johnston discuss it with Alex Golesh before looking ahead to UAB - and realizing there are still some amazing things happening with this team, led by the play of its QB Byrum Brown. We're joined by a standout freshman WR Jeremiah Koger, who leads the nation for TD catches by a freshman with six. Finally, the CEO of Athletics Rob Higgins with a full round-up of his first 50 days or so on the job.
Dramatic defeat for football - do the Bulls still have a shot at a conference championship game spot? Plus, lots of highlights from men's basketball at Kennesaw State, a 108-point performance on a special day that helped land Joe Pinion as conference player of the week. Darek was in Vegas and recaps Saturday night's women's game vs. No. 3 UCLA, plus volleyball ends the regular season with a win and prepares to host the American tournament.
Plenty of hoops highlights on the program including all six of Joe Pinion's 3-point makes in a 50-point rout of Coppin State, plus Darek gets you set for what should be a special one Sunday at Kennesaw. The women's team charged back from down 23-8 to lead by five, but could not finish Fairfield in Vegas; next up, No. 3 UCLA on Saturday. Notes on our Saturday football broadcast including a very special pregame guest. Volleyball finishes the regular season Sunday with second seed in sight. And LOTS of new Bulls make their commitments official in the sports of basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf, lacrosse and soccer.

This one comes to you from Las Vegas, where Darek is with women's basketball as they face a pair of very tough opponents. Before that, great football news involving the CFP rankings, then some good stuff from Bryan Hodgson on Josh Omojafo who showed out against GW, and a preview of Wednesday's opponent Coppin State. Show closes with another Wednesday matchup of note for volleyball.
Note - this show was taped before the CFP rankings that had USF enter at No. 24! Jim Louk fills in for Darek, and alongside Caylee Cottrell and Joey Johnston relive a memorable Thursday on campus and of course at Raymond James Stadium with the Bulls scoring two defensive touchdowns before the offense saw the field... then the Byrum Brown-led offense being sensational in a 55-23 romp of UTSA. Next, a big challenge at Navy. Hear what Head Coach Alex Golesh and Defensive Player of the Week in the American, nickel Jarvis Lee, have to say about it all!
A special Saturday version of the program starts off with highlights galore - football rolls UTSA, women's hoops gets tested Friday but prevails, and a couple of heartbreaking defeats end both soccer teams' season at the conference tourney stage. Volleyball slips up but still holds 2nd place with three matches left in the regular season.
Plenty of highlights as heard on Bulls Unlimited! In Bryan Hodgson's regular-season debut Monday night at the Yuengling Center.

Plenty more going on besides football - as evidenced by this nearly-40 minute recap of some great stuff from women's soccer in the American tournament... a simply unreal ending to the men's soccer regular season at Memphis (and games that took place elsewhere)... and plenty of Darek's thoughts on Michele Woods-Baxter's debut as Interim HC for women's basketball and Bryan Hodgson's men's squad putting up 102 against Charle Ward's FAMU.
Darek, Caylee and Joey joined by Head Coach Alex Golesh to briefly recap the Bulls' first conference defeat at Memphis before turning their attention towards Thursday, when ESPN will not only broadcast the game vs. UTSA but will have its "Sportscenter on Campus" show live at 2 p.m. from the Marshall Center. It's also Salute to Service night - player guest Christian Neptune's father is an active Navy officer.
On this special Saturday show Darek goes back to some great news from earlier in the week, with Buccaneer legend Derrick Brooks being named the COO of USF Athletics. Bulls enter a big Halloween Night matchup with Tulsa at 9-1 in the American, tied for first place with Rice with six matches remaining. Ivey and Andrade have been the top two hitters across the last month, with Ivey emerging and Andrade - the Offensive Player of the Week in the conference - putting together a possible second straight Player of the Year season.
Men's golf ends the fall in fine fashion in Boca Raton, and both soccer squads face off with FAU in key Corbett Clashes Wednesday and Thursday.
A LOT to cover from the weekend, hence the 45-minute show. The first half hour starts with volleyball continuing to do its thing, radio highlights of men's basketball piling up 120 points Friday night, crazy last-minute drama from both men's soccer and the women, along with women's golf posting a year-best outcome, plus news from tennis and beach volleyball. The last 15 minutes are Darek's opinions on what many had to say after football lost a tough one vs. Memphis, along with a breakdown of the contest's key plays, and finally the conference and CFP outlook that results.
With Friday being one year since the passing of Amir Abdur-Rahim, we wanted to present this hour-long collection of memories from that incredible season as Conference Champs.
