Episode 299: Anaconda (2025). The sequel nobody saw sneaking up on them in the jungle just in time for Christmas. Paul Rudd and Jack Black star as childhood friends and fans of the original 1997 film who set off to make their own indie sequel in the Amazon Rainforest. We checked it out and regurgitated it for you. 

Episode 298: The Housemaid. Adapted from the best selling 2022 novel of the same name and directed by Paul Feig, The Housemaid stars Amanda Seyfried as the wealthy Nina Winchester and Sydney Sweeney as the titular housemaid caught in her crosshairs. Episode 297: Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025). The controversial 80s Christmas shocker that spawned 4 sequels and a loose remake (Silent Night 2012) is born again, this time from an original screenplay by writer/director Mike P. Episode 296: Cloverfield. The 2008 found footage creature feature that spawned a franchise (of sorts) but never fully delivered on its initial promise was stacked with talent behind the camera, including producer J.J. Abrams, director Matt Reeves (The Batman, Let Me In) and writer Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods, The Martian). This week we took a look back to see how well it holds up today.
