This Christmas, we are reminded especially through this story to give glory to God--who gives immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Karen is a loving single mom of 4 who reached out to us for help this Christmas. After fleeing a DV situation and caring for 4 children on her own all while trying to get through school and work, she turned her family back to Jesus. 'We didn't have everything we wanted but we had everything we needed. And I'm just like, this is God. This is God showing up for us because there's no way I'm a single mom of 4 kids with rent, and a car, and everything else but we were managing. And it didn't feel as hard as I thought it would be. I'm not alone. God for sure is playing in our lives... I was like we're going back to church, you guys are going to know the bible and know Jesus..."

Our friends at Buckley & Associates and Robert Gardner Roofing want to help give Karen a Christmas that will exceed her children's expectations this year. Karen will be receiving a $1,000 shopping spree to give her kids everything they want on their Christmas list.

This truth is demonstrated in Kristie and Colleen's story. Kristie is a single mom who selflessly cares for her two daughters above her own needs. And when Kristie's mom Colleen didn't have a place to live a few months ago, she packed up her dining room and welcomed Colleen in. 

Through dealing with grief, divorce, and financial hardship, the 4 ladies under one home have stuck together through it all. 

Colleen recounts how God has been her anchor.

"My belief in God has just been overwhelming to me these past several years since my son died and then since my husband divorced me. It's just been a rock that I have lived by. God has just been a blessing in my life to give me my daughter and my two granddaughters. He is always there for me when I need him."
