Replay – Judge Phil Ginn: The Importance of Apologetics; The Pestiferous Quagmire; Activist Judges
Original airdate: 6/5/25 Mary welcomes new guest Judge Phil Ginn of Southern Evangelical Seminary to discuss the critical need for apologetics - understanding it, and using what we learn. It can be like a foreign language, if you don't use it you just might lose it. Hiding God's Word in our hearts is critical to the articulation of biblical apologetics. We will talk about their upcoming National Apologetics Conference. Then we look at the quagmire parents have found themselves in when trying to assert their rights and opt out of perverted DEI type indoctrination. The public schools don't want to deal with those messes, because hey, that means their students aren't learning to be oh so tolerant of diversity and inclusion. Well, that's on them, the schools - and parents are fighting back. Finally, we look at our government and why Trump has to deal with the O'Biden judiciary mess via activist judges. How did we get to the point that our duly elected President has his agenda hijacked at every turn? An enlightening hour with the president of SES, a former judge and very sharp regarding the Christian worldview.

Oscar Navarro: That I May Win Some
Mary welcomes Oscar Navarro of Living Waters Ministry to talk about winning for the right side, bringing the gospel and the message of the cross to whosoever might listen and be saved. Oscar is Vice President of Ministry Advancement and a host of Way of the Master TV program, now in its 11th year. In this installment of SUFTT, we chat about how he came to Christ, and what it means to work at Living Waters. We ask him about open air preaching, which is something that our human nature perhaps rubs against and yet moving forward despite our fears even when public speaking is involved is an important aspect of reaching everyday humans with the truth. What happens after that, well, we leave the results to God. Living Waters has been a blessing to so many for decades, and demonstrating how to share the gospel is as important of an aspect to what they do as it is actually sharing it because believers often need a little encouragement, inspiration and education on how best to do just that.

Dr. Chris Rupe: Apes on Parade
Mary welcomes Dr. Chris Rupe to talk about that infamous graphic depicting the linear march of ape-to-human that billions know, or accept as, the story of the evolution of mankind. "March of Progress", as the mural is named, has only been around since 1965 and yet generations of students were force-fed this simplistic view of humans and there is no "unseeing" it, even if a picture is worth 1000 (lying, fake, fraudulent, hoax-worthy) words. We chat with Chris about how the theory of evolution is stalled out - if not going backwards)- over bones and fossils. Specifically transitional bones, because if we can't find any layers of ape-to-human proof in the form of fossils, what now? Scientists like to think evolution is not merely a theory but also not an ideology, but we are going to take some time to clear all that up. A fascinating hour with someone who has thought through transitional species, and author of "Contested Bones".

Stand Up For The Truth Podcast
Headlines: The Hand of History
Tim and Mary Danielsen take a look at the current news cycle, which, as always it seems, moves forward to a specific end more and more. It's easy to just be detached because the news is uniquely bad; but do we stand back often enough to see the big picture? Everything is moving toward a prophesied end and that gets more obvious by the day. And that it is going there guided by the Hand of History should never be taken for granted by us mere earthlings. Yeah, Communism is bad; it has never succeeded; and it will enslave us as sure as the digital dollar. But the real story should probably be the one about Islam which will also enslave us and cost us our head if we stand firm. American voters think that what's best for us is always something different, but history shows that is a very dangerous mindset. According to FOX, Gen Z voted for Trump and Mamdani for the same reason: change. The level of shortsightedness here is astounding. We also talk about Kristallnacht, Yad Vashem (Holocaust museum in Israel) and more.

Holly Pivec: The New Apostolic Revolution
Mary welcomes back author, apologist and speaker Holly Pivec for a timely conversation about the New Apostolic Reformation - which has become more of a revolution if you look at the numbers. And yet so many believers have never heard of it. So today we look at the basics: what it is, what it isn't, and how to recognize it will take a bit of effort since it isn't a specific church or denomination. We look at how it intersects with politics and why. If Christians think that the gospel they see in today's politics is pure, they really need to think again, since the NAR is bent on taking over every system of the world. Does that sound as crazy to you reading it as it did to me writing it? It should, because dominion theology says that Christians must take over the world before Jesus can return. And yes, that IS crazy because Jesus isn't a hostage in heaven waiting for us to overtake politics. We also talk about revival: what might that look like here in 2025, with the NAR being opportunistic in nature, that wherever there are whispers of revival, there they must be. Christians must be armed with this information or they risk being deceived, it really is that simple. If a claim of revival turns out to be fake, are we trying to assign the Holy Spirit to something He has not initiated? How can that not be perilous to believers? Holly's definitive and groundbreaking books on the NAR can be found here.

Stand Up For The Truth Podcast
Dr. Jeremy Lundgren: The Fear of the Lord and the Future of Education
Dr. Jeremy Lundgren

NEW PODCAST TODAY!  Dave Wager sits down with Dr. Jeremy Lundgren, president of Nicolet Bible Institute at Silver Birch Ranch, to talk straight about college, calling, and growing up. Framed by Proverbs 1:7, “Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge…,” they push past the usual “pick a major and chase a paycheck” thinking and ask better questions: Should your son or daughter go to college at all? What is God actually preparing them for? How do you weigh Bible school, trade school, a four year degree, or a gap year in a culture that is confused, expensive, and often hostile to biblical truth?

Dave and Jeremy keep circling back to transition. College is not just about classrooms. It is about learning to get up on your own, handle responsibility, live with other people, make your faith your own, and see your future through the lens of serving Christ, not just surviving adulthood. They talk about how a place like Nicolet Bible Institute gives students one focused year in Scripture, service, and community, to grow in wisdom before locking into a long term path. This episode is for parents, grandparents, and young adults who are trying to make decisions about “what’s next” and want to start, not with money or majors, but with the fear of the Lord.

David Holland: Financial Common Cents & Glowing Puppies
Mary welcomes David Holland to the podcast to talk all things financial. From gold and silver, to fiat currencies to inflation and cryptos, how can we make sense of it all and help our families in the process? We can and must help them get ready for eternity, but fiscal responsibility is required in this life, as a stewardship. We talk about the state of financial affairs in the world and how to understand that better. We also look at what's coming. Yes, the globalists want that one world economy - it sure seems so - but they are also fulfilling Bible prophecy which they probably do not realize.  David heads up Alpha Omega Gold and his desire is to help Christians understand the financial scene and make good choices.

Trey Dellinger: Agendas, Lawfare, and Common Sense
Mary welcomes Trey Dellinger to talk about some of this year's significant Supreme Court cases, which of course can affect the entire nation eventually. Protecting our kids is so important, and this includes primarily these days, what we expose them to. With threats from transgender therapy/surgeries, the porn industry, and simple library books, there is no such thing as being too diligent. Trey Dellinger is the Senior Legal Fellow of AFA Action, the government affairs affiliate of American Family Association. The impact of AFA on pro-family issues is recognized nationwide, and they have been diligent to defend and protect family values since its founding in 1977 by Donald Wildmon. It's interesting how those with an agenda steamroll any notion of common sense when it comes to raising our children. In fact, those with an agenda seem to think that our kids are their kids. An encouraging podcast that helps parents see that they are not alone in the fight to let our kids be kids, free from blatant immorality and obscenity.

Headlines: How the West Was Lost
NO VIDEO PODCAST TODAY! Tim and Mary take on the news cycle with an update on the November 4 elections. With the NYC mayoral behind us, many are saying the way of life in America is truly behind us as well. Aftermarket comments on social indicate people really didn't do any research on Mayor-elect Mamdani's beliefs, a trojan horse of Communism and Islam which will surely affect us all eventually. It's shocking to read today's comments from the average American, actually, wondering what all the fuss is about. Are constituents really that easily led? Even in the 'flyover' states, we will find that with Islam's encroachment into Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan, the dominoes will fall eventually. We talk about what it all means at least for now, for America, Israel, and all those who love freedom. We also talk about freedom to be believers and Jews in today's climate. Believers who have long watched prophecy never thought we would see the things we are seeing, but we are here for a reason - walk circumspectly, and occupy till He comes. He is ever on the throne.

Michael Johnson: To the Uttermost Parts with Slavic Gospel Association
Mary welcomes Michael Johnson, president of Slavic Gospel Association to enlighten us about the tremendous needs in the former Soviet Union. SGA works with 13 nations to bring light and hope to those who have never heard the good news through various outreaches. Having begun nearly 100 years ago by a man who immigrated to the States from Belarus, SGA has been faithful to put deeds to the Word and bring truth to all ages. We talk about the orphan crisis, in particular the older teens who age out of the orphanages, only to find themselves the target of sex traffickers and the slave trade. These teens who have never known hope, often just wander aimlessly as young adults. Russia has the 3rd highest suicide rate in the world among adolescents. Who will give them a chance for a normal life, and what are the challenges to giving them the gospel? What is the state of their hearts after such a rough beginning? SGA has partnered with 6300 churches to visit these kids and develop relationships with the older teens. We talk about Siberia, Ukraine, even Israel and how to help these Russian kids. An eye-opener for us in the west.

Replay – Elizabeth Urbanowicz: Firm Foundations for Life
Original airdate 8/12/25: Mary welcomes new guest Elizabeth Urbanowicz, a follower of Jesus Christ who is passionate about equipping kids to understand the truth of the Christian worldview. Elizabeth began her professional career as an elementary teacher in a Christian school. Several years into her teaching experience, she realized that despite being raised in Christian homes, attending a Christian school, and being active in church, her students thought more like the culture than like Christ. She began searching for curricular materials that would equip her students to think critically, helping them discover that Christianity is the worldview that lines up with reality. After not finding any materials that met this need, she began creating a curriculum for her students. Today we look at how to move our kids forward, and pursue excellence in everything, at a time when the culture keeps going backwards everywhere we look. Counteracting a worldly worldview is a full time job. How can families and churches proactively keep their youth engaged with truth? What will it take, consistently and purposefully? A full hour with Elizabeth as we seek to begin to guard our hearts with all diligence and raise children to be confident, passionate lovers of truth. (A discount code has been set up for our listeners, save $10 off a family license of any curriculum using STANDUP10.)

JB Hixson: In a Dry and Thirsty Land
Dr. JB Hixson

SORRY, NO VIDEO VERSION TODAY! Mary welcomes back JB Hixson today to help us all turn down the volume on our lives. We are inordinately busy - and not just that, we are tuning in the world more and more and tuning out that still small voice, the one thing that can give us strength and comfort. Sometimes we don't even know how unbalanced our lives are until we tune it all out and spend time with Jesus. God knows what we need, in every generation. The world is so chaotic, and adding to the geopolitical insanity, there are countless voices and opinions presenting other ways to view everything. Exhausted yet? Maybe you are but don't realize it. JB and Mary look at David the sweet Psalmist, and his declaration that what we really need is to draw near to Jesus - and drink of the living water He offers. David, and that deer, panted for the water during the most difficult times, and so should we - whether we are on the run from enemies, navigating apostasy in the church, watching the news about man's inhumanity to man - all these things sap our strength. He is our peace, and He knows what will make for our peace: whatsoever is true, lovely, and praiseworthy. Let's unplug and satisy that thirst.  Have a long drink of cool water.

Pastor Claude Stauffer: Happy Stove Day! – A Biblical Look at Halloween
PASTOR CLAUDE STAUFFER

Mary welcomes back Pastor Claude to talk about the seasonal occultic holiday we have all come to know as Halloween. Should we or shouldn't we participate, that's an old debate but really, there are solid answers because the Bible doesn't leave us in the dark about anything for life and godliness - and shining a light on the dark is what we are called to do. With that in mind, Pastor Claude takes the analogy of the hot stove to describe how easily and subtly we can get burned by dabbling in the occult - and Halloween is just that. Is it just a silly and harmless day to celebrate the occult (more like a month now)? If it is, what does God's Word say about that? Objections might look like this: "I had a great time on Halloween as a kid. It's fun and harmless". So let's say that's true, that you had fun. We want that for our kids, as long as it doesn't hurt them. But equating this day with "harmless" isn't sound thinking and here's why: by teaching our precious kids that dabbling in the occult is harmless at a young age, we leave them open later in life to entertain the notion that astrology, altered states, necromancy, ouija boards and any New Age practices are also harmless. If I think like the devil, I'm thrilled that parents have dropped their guard to give place to dark arts. What a sobering thought.  Lots to think about as we raise our kids and grands with a biblical worldview that should protect and guard their hearts above all.

Headlines: Dark Days, Mighty Bright Future
Paul tells the Ephesians to walk in such a way that wisdom marks our path. He then says to redeem our time, for the "days are evil". If they were evil then, we know that we know they are evil now. In fact, the days of Noah were evil plus - and so shall our days be. So what are we watching this week? It will be different tomorrow probably, and next week as well. We went from weekly newspapers in large cities back in the 19th century, to daily in the last century, to non-stop today and newspapers are not even read anymore. In light of all of this, we talk about redeeming the time in a very encouraging article to start us out. Then we talk about the uniqueness of Israel - but in a way you may not have thought of because God is sovereign over ALL nations (Acts 17).  More headlines - Big Food wants us all to be vegans, and they can prove it. A hurricane update and just how the fake media is paying richly for their censorship and lies, which has touched every life at some point. Evil days - bright future. Hold fast!

Todd Nettleton: Voice of the Martyrs Update; Headlines
In the first half of today's edition of Stand Up, Mary welcomes back Todd Nettleton of Voice of the Martyrs to catch us up on the state of the church in areas that are not friendly to the gospel. We tend to think that Christians are mistreated only in Islamic nations, but in other parts of the world outside of Africa, communism contributes to violence against believers, since Islam and atheism are both hostile to the truth of the gospel. Todd talks about his recent travels, and the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians coming up on November 2. We talk about some other hotspots, and how the listener can support this ministry or be involved on a local level.  Then Mary looks at some headlines: Ballroom Blues and why the left has gone insane over the reno at the White House; the NYC mayoral race and who bought what so our nation's largest city could become socialist; and some more odds and ends of the news cycle as October winds down.

Replay – Elijah Abraham: A Civilizational Shift
NOT Elijah Abraham

[Original airdate: 7/8/25] Mary welcomes back Elijah Abraham to catch up on his travels and discuss the "civilizational shift" that Islam is aiming for around the globe. Elijah has a pastors' heart for the lost, and to communicate the dangers of the spread of Islam around the globe, including in the US. We will talk about his trips to various nations to spread the gospel and equip pastors to defend the faith. His ministry, Living Oasis, exists to make the most of every day and season to warn the church about the true intentions of Islam and the subjugation of all non-Muslims, or "infidels". We talk about what's currently going on in Texas and New York, as well as other areas of our nation. Why are officials seemingly turning a blind eye to the establishment of Islamic communities right under our noses? Will they lead to establishment of Sharia law then naturally? Is there any way to keep Islamic politicians from gaining positions of influence in our major cities?  How can the church engage the local Muslim community and get to know them on a more personal level? A timely update from Elijah.

Julaine Appling: How the Church Can Champion Marriage Again
Stand Up For The Truth paused regular programming for a Q Drive hour with Mary Danielsen and guest Julaine Appling, President Emeritus of Wisconsin Family Council/Wisconsin Family Action. They framed marriage and family as God’s first institution and the foundation for church and civil society. Appling challenged the 50 percent divorce myth, urged Bible-believing churches to champion marriage with robust premarital counseling, inventories, and mentoring, and highlighted practices like recognizing anniversaries and sharing testimonies. Data points noted Wisconsin’s low divorce rate and long marriage duration, while cautions covered cohabitation, delayed marriage, below-replacement birth rates, and the moral problems tied to certain contraceptives and IVF. She also celebrated Planned Parenthood clinic pauses and closures, warned about cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers, and called pastors to teach clearly on life, marriage, and religious freedom.

Throughout the hour, listeners were invited to help fund the first six months of 2026, with Q Drive at roughly 46 percent of the $195,000 goal. The team encouraged giving by phone at 800-979-9010 or online at q90fm.com and standupforthetruth.com. Final takeaways for the church were simple and actionable, prepare couples biblically and practically, model strong marriages and family devotions, commit to a local church, engage elected officials as a mission field, and pray for pastors while holding fast to truth without compromise.

Stand Up For The Truth Podcast
Becky Kopitzke: The Theology of Vocation and the Call to Everyday Faith
Becky Kopitzke

It’s a new Stand Up For The Truth podcast with host Dave Wager and special guest Becky Kopitzke, author, speaker, and longtime communicator of biblical truth. Together they dive into the “theology of vocation,” exploring what it really means to serve God through everyday work and calling. Becky shares her story of learning that her worth isn’t found in what she does, but in who she is as a child of God. From motherhood to writing books and mentoring others, she’s seen how the Lord uses both gifts and seasons of waiting to shape her faith. The conversation opens with Colossians 3:12, calling believers to clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, and explores how these virtues define our work and relationships when Christ is at the center.

Dave and Becky also talk about how our vocations, whether teaching, parenting, or working behind the scenes, become acts of worship when surrendered to God. They touch on the importance of humility, dependence, and being faithful in the small things that few may notice. Even the simple act of praying for someone you meet can reflect the heart of Jesus. Through stories of family, ministry, and everyday faith, the episode reminds us that our calling isn’t about titles, fame, or platform. It’s about living fully for the One who created us. Wherever God places you, He can use your obedience to make an eternal impact. Sorry, no videocast of today's show.  Feedback about today's podcast is appreciated - email davew @ q90fm.com.

Gary Kah: Within Firing Range – Government Waste, Mideast Peace, ICE Protests, Ukraine
Mary welcomes back Gary Kah to get his insights on several different topics today. The government shutdown - who is doing what to whom to get what they want? According to Americans, who gets the most blame? Who is the new target of losing their jobs as Trump takes aim at Dem programs? Since everything is politicized now, so must this be. We attempt to shine a light on that and what it means for us mere voters. Then we discuss the blue state desire to keep immigration flowing one direction. We have to ask ourselves, why in the world would any community want illegals and the loathsome crimes they commit to ravage their towns and neighborhoods? There must be something big in it for them. Until it's their family or friend touched by crime. We also get Gary's take on the Mideast, the hot topic of the week; also on Ukraine and Russia, as no one expected this war to drag so long. Gary has been watching the times since the early 90s and brings an articulate, unique perspective to some hot button issues.

Kyle Peart and Flynn Huseby: How Readest Thou?
Mary welcomes back Kyle and Flynn to talk about the nuances of how we process information - at the biblical level. Every day, we are processing probably more info than most people ever did in a lifetime in previous generations. We listen to preachers, podcasts, YouTubes, and we read volumes some days. Are we really listening critically? What about pre-texts and presumptions? We all bring with us various biases, experiences, flaws and flesh. But the Bible is unique, isn't it? Don't we want a firm foundation? Are we even concerned about said biases and preconceptions, in that they can cause a cracked foundation? We talk about all the ways that we can "watch our life and doctrine closely" so as not to ruin the hearers, but help them see the truth. A high calling indeed. Apologists, authors, podcasters - Kyle and Flynn are perfect for dissecting this subject and seeing what we can take away from how we hear, read, and process profound truth.
