Today’s guest is John Neal, Executive Director for Space Policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. John leads the Chamber’s Space Policy team and founded the Space Leadership Council, bringing together policymakers and industry leaders to strengthen America’s space economy.


Before stepping into the policy arena, John spent nearly a decade as an FBI Special Agent, directing national security and criminal investigations and advising senior officials on mergers and acquisitions with national security implications.


His career also includes service as a U.S. Navy airborne reconnaissance officer, policy work on Capitol Hill with the House Homeland Security Committee, and leadership roles in the private sector with Planet Labs and NXP Semiconductors.

John holds a B.A. in Government from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill.
