The social media sensation, @mrsronyb Ronyelle Baker, was our next guest on this episode of StoryTime with Stephanie.
Our show has been dedicated to giving independent authors a platform to share about their books and what they have upcoming. However, on this episode, we did something different and spoke to an avid romance book reviewer to hear from her what makes a great book, specifically romance books.
Don’t miss this discussion as @mrsronyb brings her humor, charm, and book savvy to StoryTime as we discuss what made “Rifts and Refrains” by @tiye28always such an AMAZING book. Jake and Amara stole my and had me rooting for them all the way to the stage.

We took a little break; however, we are back.
This guest is a former NFL player, and two-time high school Hall of Fame inductee, Darryl Clack (@darrylclack).
When Darryl was diagnosed with early-stage dementia and soon after slipped into a coma brought on by a life-threatening rare autoimmune-related blood disorder, his life as he knew it changed forever.
“Hear My Story Before I Forget” chronicles Darryl’s celebrated sports journey, his coping mechanisms for multiple concussions, PTSD, and depression, and journals the dark months of uncertainty that followed his traumatic illness and his fight to live.

Guess who stopped by Storytime with Stephanie? Anthony "AJ" Joiner, founder of Blooksy Books.
I couldn’t wait to chat with AJ about his book, “Atlanta Fish Fry: Life’s a Fish and Then You Fry,” which centers on how gentrification tries to strip AJ’s beloved community of its authentic charm.
This is a delightful story of the importance of getting to know those in your neighborhood so that when something comes to try to tear it down, your community can come together by any means necessary. I love it!

I wrapped up Season 5 with our final guest of the season, Ereka Thomas. Ereka Thomas, author of the highly-anticipated forthcoming book, "Breaking Covenants with Counterfeits," takes us on a journey through her life to show us how she was set up to believe a lie about her identity, which led her to make an exchange for what she thought she lacked.
By forcing herself into an abnormal existence that was a counterfeit of who God created her to be, she delved deeper into the false identity. You can catch StoryTime with Stephanie live every 2nd and 4th Monday at 7pm EST, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/literarydoula.

On this episode, I sat down to discuss Shay Robertson's book, "Loss, Pain, and Finding Peace." There is a saying that God sometimes calms the storm, but sometimes God allows the storm to rage to calm His child. He knew what she needed, and as unfair as it seemed, it aligned Shay with her destiny.
This Planning Coach thought she could plan her life the way she desired. But the Creator had other plans for her, and thankfully His plans prevailed over hers.

OMG! This episode was so powerful with Sonya author of "Sonya D! Xposed: The Diary of a Fitness Diva." Sonya D, as she is affectionately known, is a former NWBA player, celebrity fitness trainer, life coach, host, model, and inspirational speaker.
In her book, she highlights some of her truths that others are often afraid to talk about. She "xposes" some of the most painful times in her life when it was difficult for her to "just get over it" as everyone expected she should. But the blessing is that she is still here to tell her story.
