One of the primary functions of a baseball umpire is the enforcement of the rules of the game. Today, CB, E-Nak and Trav meet with John Ottavino, a self-made baseball rules expert (our definition).
John publishes a free daily email, "Baseball Rule of the Day." This mail list is available to anyone who asks. Currently, there are hundreds of umpires, across the USA, and abroad, who subscribe to John's list. We talk to Mr Ottavino about the origins of the mail list, from a small local distribution, to the growth to today, and some of the interesting rules/interpretations.
You can subscribe to John's free "Baseball Rule of the Day," email list just by asking - j.ottavino@att.net
