Subjective Comedy
Subjective Comedy live standup presents Brad Scott "Single Dad"

Written in January of 2020. First Live Performance filmed in February of 2020.

This is the story of how mediocre comedian Brad Scott became mediocre comedian Brad Scott with sole custody of his kid. There's heroine, prison, and the rapper Stitches!

Recorded live at the intimate 80 seat Red Curb Comedy Club in Avon, IN just days before the world shut down. The sold out crowd of 80 turned out to be only 27 that braved the weather and the start of the pandemic to hear this heartwarming and moving story of an idiot who manages to be a great father.

Special thanks to

Mark Biddy (Fresh Produce)

Will Pfaffenberger (Brad's intro and owner of Red Curb)

Arec Simeri (Former co-host of Wrastlemania)

Brad Shoemaker (Producing/Podcasting Godfather of Indianapolis)

Finch, Dan West, and the rest of the season 3 SC crew.

Corey Miller, the greatest co-host I ever had.

Vic Miller, Corey but the black version.

Rob Harris, first mentor and definition of cool.

Chris and Heidi Miller, family beyond comedy.

And the rest!

Abbi Crutchfield
Brad catches up with his friend Abbi Crutchfield. Abbi co-hosts the hit podcast "The Kid is in School" with her husband Dry Bar comedian Luke Thayer, and has been featured on Hulu, Comedy Central, truTV, NBC, CBS, and was in the "hit" indy movie "Apache Tears" where her character was shot by.....Brad. Duh, Duh, Duuuuuh! Abbi is a generational talent and future household name. She also may be the first guest able to keep up with Brad's manic ADD induced pace. They chat about a million things including classic TGIF (The ABC version, not the food version), snacks, and how years ago they went on a couple of dates that Brad made awkward by his unusual location choices. Gerrit Elzinga
Brad and The Money chat with Gerrit Elzinga. Easily the standard for being a standup host. As the House MC for one of the best comedy clubs in the country, Dr. Grins in Grand Rapids, MI. Gerrit has mastered the art of biting the bullet. So much so that he put out an album called......"Bullet Biter: The Emcee Sessions" a collection of standup sets from the hardest spot in the show to get laughs, and Gerrit does it better than anyone else. Gerrit talks about what it takes to deal with different crowds who haven't yet laughed when he tells his first joke. He also solidifies himself in Subjective Comedy lore with a historic first for the show! Remember if you didn't think this episode was funny......... Sohile Ali
Brad and The Money are joined by Sohile Ali. Sohile is new to standup, but is quickly becoming one of the most respected voices in the Indianapolis market. He co-hosts the "SAY What?" podcast alongside Yousuf Naderpoor. They dare to challenge SC in being the most inconsistent podcast in comedy. They have no idea who they're fucking with. Mainly, because SC doesn't show up 3/4 of the time. That's how inconsistent we are. Sohile talks to the guys about his experiences so far in standup, and is the first guest to indulge Brad in NBA talk. Check out the "SAY What?" podcast on the same platform you're listening to right now. Follow Sohile on IG @sohile.ali Subjective Comedy has launched brand new social media pages!! Subjective Confidential: Hey that's a car Jack!

On the debut episode of the spinoff "Subjective Confidential" We start off with Brad telling two nice warm fuzzy stories about being mistaken for Tom Jones and meeting Tiona the bad ass Indy bus driver with a love for horror movies and her children/grandchildren.

Then Brad tells the story he posted about on social media a few weeks ago involving someone stealing his car while on a Door Dash delivery with his child Matthew (Going by the name Requin at the time of recording) in the car.

After that we get Requin's perspective on this traumatic event.

It's not a normal Subjective Comedy episode, but Brad can't afford therapy.

The Subjective 16 "I.P.M.M.A.B.O.B." pt. 2 Featuring Comedian Jonathan Pfendler
It's part 2 of the "Inaugural Patrick Murray Memorial Annual Battle of the Bands" tournament with Brad, Producer Perc, and special guest picker, comedian Jonathan Pfendler! Who will take home the coveted trophy and be declared the best band in this tournament? Brad also mistakenly stereotypes Jonathan as a weed guy, and then Jonathan spends the entire episode sounding like someone who smokes weed. Remember if you didn't think this episode was funny. "The Subjective 16" featuring "The Inaugural Patrick Murray Memorial Annual Battle of the Bands pt. 1" with Patrick Murray

Just in time for March Madness it's the return of "The Subjective 16", our NCAA style subjective tournament. Our Bracketologist for this episode is comedian Patrick Murray with his top 16 bands. Based out of Indianapolis, IN for the last 9 years. Patrick is moving across the pond to London in a few months. We talk about that, why he would die happily if he were moving to South America instead, and he brings us a gift in the form of a new intro song to lead Subjective Comedy into the future!

Daniel Sloss
Daniel Sloss is one of the best comedians in the world, maybe one of the best of all time. He broke into the American comedy scene in 2018 with his Netflix specials "Dark" and "JigSaw". The latter became known as "The Breakup Special", due to the fact so many couples called it quits after watching it. Just one year later he released the critically acclaimed "X" on HBO, in which he brilliantly tackles the subject of toxic masculinity and rape.  He just released "Socio" a special he intended to be the 3rd part of a trilogy with "Dark" and "JigSaw". He talks to Brad about the impact all of the specials have had on his career and life. He also talks about the corruption within the comedy business. Acknowledging he benefited from a flawed system in a very honest and candid way that you rarely hear from comedians at his level. If you love the world of standup comedy beyond the stage. This is an interview you don't want to miss.  They also talk Family Guy, Sneakers, and his tradition of "Sober January".  This is the first episode we feel 100% saying if you didn't think this episode was funny remember....go fuck yourself. We did good this time.  You can purchase "Socio" to stream directly from Daniel's website DanielSloss.com You can watch "Dark" and "JigSaw" on Netflix For the US, you can watch "X" on HBO MAX Follow the show @subjectivecomedy on IG @subjectcomedy on Twitter and Subjective Comedy w/ Brad Scott on Facebook.
