Today we look at fasting and solitude as spiritual disciplines that when combined with prayer and Bible study provide a multiplying impact on our spiritual lives. It’s time to grow closer to God and these disciplines can give you a needed boost!

We look at 1 Timothy 4:6-10 and the prescription for godliness.  We need to consume the proper doctrines and avoid those that are evil, and we need to exercise the spiritual disciplines that push us on toward holiness.

Matt and Paul look at how we can determine if a teaching is true or false, so that we don’t fall prey to false teachers.

In 1 Timothy 4:1-5 Paul instructs Timothy to beware of the false teachers who teach that Christians should deny themselves of the pleasure that God has rightly provided as a gift to his people. Enjoy!
