Just be Shelby Nelson, IBCLC. Ahhhh! Very exciting stuff. What's on deck for you in the new year? Drop a comment in my post for this episode and let's talk.

That Sounds Like a Tongue Tie!: The Challenges of Feeding Babies with Oral Restrictions with Haley Murphy

Today we're diving into a somewhat controversial topic- oral restrictions, i.e. tongue ties, lip ties, etc. My guest, Haley Murphy, is a mom of three who dealt with ties in her two oldest children. She shares about her experience of becoming a first time mom while figuring out how to feed a baby with oral restrictions and how her approach changed with each baby. We also touch on the importance of seeking support before things get overwhelming (no harm in getting an evaluation!). Haley and I go way back (like 1991), so if you hear us talking over each other...that's because we've been doing it for over 34 years, haha.
