I’m Sophia Knapp, a swimmer at UVA and your host.
In this episode, we’re going straight to the heart of Wahoo Nation with two of the biggest names in college swimming Claire Curzan and Tess Howley.
Tess is a U.S. National Team member, a two-time All-American in the 200 fly, and recently brought home gold at the World University Games.
Claire is a U.S. Olympian, a National Team member, last year’s NCAA champion in the 100 and 200 backstroke, and a key part of four NCAA-winning relays.
Together, they represent one of the most dominant programs in college swimming the five-time national champion Virginia Cavaliers, who now set their sights on making history with a sixth.
