Hey, it's Saturday! I had 2 short episodes on my phone that I never uploaded. So here you go... A quick notebook episode covering 2 topics.
I even had a chance to normalize the files so they might sound slightly better than normal .... Slightly.
A bit about trying to find my personal TTRPG Spark. That thing that motivates me to keep going , keep creating and keep loving my hobby.
Enjoy
Roll dice.
New year wishes and dice dreams
AAIE Has one system people completely love or hate, and that’s casting spells. So let’s look at that for what and why it is.
Fact is this is a quick what have I been doing update.. persisting that’s what. Trying to plug away at some game ideas and get something out there for AAIE in the holiday season.
This episode: How I used to use Index cards when I was running games far more often than I do now.
Once upon a time I would run multiple games in a week. At that time Index cards were invaluable tools for keeping track of the details and helping to run the game.
This week - I talk a bit about exactly how I used to use them.
Just a quick talk about our seasonal Krampus game. And how it relates to or in our case defies, pace.
Also sorry about the heater noise in the first half.
A quick update about changing formats
Just a quick hitter of an episode. With the holidays, there’s not that much going on.
A bit about our on going pathfinder 2 game… 2 hour online games , balance between fighting and everything else…. And my concerns about injecting story and stakes into a game of short online sessions.
Just a mix of TTRPG subjects… get ready for another week.
Inspired by another’s pod cast: A bit about how Osr games worked how new school games work and how I like to mix those ideas while I run games. Also a small rant about my recent experience with video games.
A bunch of subjects and talk about this weekends gaming.
Hopefully the last of sick voice pod casting.
A few digression moments never hurt that much … right ?
A short pod cast wherein I pose a question.. and talk input Lord if the rings… A decision I will likely regret.
Have a great Tuesday .. my voice is shot but there’s no stopping the rolling Kia Studio.
Can I move the spotlight around to everyone when we are playing a short online games? Nope. Can I cater whole sessions just to give certain characters a chance to show? Yes.. yes I can.
I talk about my very drowsy pathfinder game from Monday night … next time WE FIGHT
Talking some video games on a fine Monday morning.
Demo is: The secret of Weepstone
A brain dum p about introspection, motivations and how I’m running games.
