In this episode of Talking with Tyler, I was pleased to be joined by McArthur Moore from MacDoessports to discuss the NFL season as a whole and provide a preview of the Week 18 games, with a focus on the playoffs. All divisional winners and wild-card teams have been clinched so far, except for the NFC South and the AFC North. We give our predictions on who will win those two divisions and much more in a fantastic episode for you all! If you enjoyed this episode, please give McArthur a follow who's on TikTok, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc, plus me if you haven't already.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I talk about the Jets' recent loss to the Patriots this past Sunday afternoon, 42-10 in a lopsided affair. The Jets' defense gave up a lot of points early on as it was 35-3 going into halftime, and then the offense couldn't pull them back into it. Listen more to hear our thoughts on this crummy game and a preview of the last game of the season against the Bills.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I recap the Jets' 29-6 loss against the New Orleans Saints this past Sunday afternoon in a Saints offensive clinic with several guys like Taysom Hill getting involved. The Jets once again drop another game, and Brady Cook could not capitalize on long Jets drives. He threw his 6th interception of the season in three games since being brought up as the backup. Listen more to hear our thoughts on this, plus better but still not great defense being played by the Jets, creating their 4th turnover of the season. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone out there!
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I talk about the Jets' recent loss to the Jaguars this past Sunday afternoon, 48-20. The Jaguars had the lead early and never looked back as the Jets' QB woes continue. Brady Cook does not seem to be the answer, and the rest of the offense was shut down. Listen more to hear our thoughts on the game, plus talk about the resigning of Jeremy Ruckert and others like Hendon Hooker coming to the practice squad from the Carolina Panthers.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I break down the 34-10 Dolphins victory over the Jets this past Sunday afternoon as the Dolphins continue to win games in hopes of securing a playoff spot. This loss mathematically eliminates the Jets from playoff contention, meaning the rest of the season, they're just playing for pride. We discuss players that could be on the market once the season ends, and players to go after, like in the NFL Draft. Listen more to hear our thoughts on everything mentioned and more.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad talks with Tyler about the Jets' third victory of the season this past Sunday afternoon, 27-24, as Nick Folk comes up in the clutch with a last-second game-winning field goal in the fourth quarter! This was Nick's second time hitting a game-winning field goal against the Atlanta Falcons while playing for the Jets. It was the Jets' first victory against the Falcons since 2013, when that happened again. Listen more to hear our thoughts on the game as the Jets started the first half slow and then went on a tear in the second, scoring 20 points with the first half only having 7.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad talks with Tyler about the Jets' most recent loss to the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday afternoon, 23-10. The Jets did not have their best stuff, and that will extend the losing streak. Listen more to hear our thoughts on the game, along with Tyrod Taylor's starting performance.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, I discuss a wide range of sports topics that you, the fans, sent in on Instagram. Thank you all so much for that! I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I recap the Jets' recent loss to the Patriots this past Thursday night, 27-1,4, as the winning streak for the Jets ends at two games. The Jets offense started the game on fire, scoring a touchdown on their opening possession, but the tide then turned, and the offense cooled the entirety of the game until John Metchie III had his first touchdown as a Jet. The Jets' defense struggled, giving the Patriots' wide receivers large cushions. Listen more to hear our thoughts on all of this as well as what we think about Tyrod Taylor starting against the Ravens.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I break down another Jets victory, 27-20, last Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium. This pushes the win streak up to two games. The special teams were incredible, with two players running back kicks. One on a kickoff by Kene Nwangwu and Isaiah Williams on a punt. This is what helped the Jets most in securing the victory, as the offense itself only had one touchdown, courtesy of electrifying RB Breece Hall, who had himself a day with over 100 yards combined. Justin Fields struggled mightily, but it did not matter which he threw his first interception of the season. Will McDonald continues to lead the Jets defense in sacks and had four sacks on the day (team most). Listen more to hear our thoughts on all of this.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I talk about the shocking trades the Jets made at the trade deadline, in which they traded away their two star defensive players, Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams. I still am not overly for it since these two were once leaders out there and feel irreplaceable in my heart, but the Jets are now loaded on 1st and 2nd round draft picks these next two years, so I'm hoping they can finally get it right at QB or some other position. I suggest Fernando Mendoza out of Indiana if they do have a top 3 pick. Listen more to hear our thoughts on all of this, including a segment about local sports in my town, and if there's anyone new who wants to come on, please reach out.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, I recap Seton Hall's opening night win against St. Peter's 77-50. I discuss the key points from that game, along with players I believe could be standouts and make it into a high seed in the Big East Tournament and potentially March Madness. Listen to this quick hitter to learn more about what I think.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I talk about the Jets' massive come-from-behind win, being down 14 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-38 on the road. Justin Fields started to click and find his footing after getting benched last week, and the run game was red hot with Breece Hall racking up 130+ yards on the ground, 2 touchdowns, and a passing touchdown to his name. The Jets' defense gave up another high score, 38 points, but were able to come up with some huge stops late in the game to secure the victory. Listen more to hear our thoughts on all of this stunningness and a plan for the show next week, since the Jets have a bye. If you'd like to be a special guest on Talking with Tyler for next week's Tuesday episode, please send me a direct message on one of my social media platforms. Thanks!
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I discuss the Jets' recent loss to the Carolina Panthers 13-6 as the Jets fall to 0-7 on the season. The offense was once again pathetic, as they failed to score a touchdown for a second consecutive week. This led to the benching of Justin Fields in favor of Tyrod Taylor. We give our thoughts on this, as well as other game highlights, including some predictions as to who the new quarterback may be or even a new HC.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I discuss the Jets' recent loss to the Denver Broncos this past Sunday morning in London, 13-11. This drops the Jets to 0-6 on the season, and the misery for Jets fans like me continues. The Jets defense, for the first time this season, looked to be playing a lot better with their first-ever takeaway created by one of the most recent signings of the Jets, Jason Brownlee Jr., although the offensive woes now started. Justin Fields started to hold onto the ball for too long, which caused him to get sacked 9 times, and the Jets finished the game in the negatives for passing. We give our thoughts on all of this, including early predictions for the NFL Draft, where they hold the #1 overall pick.

In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I discuss the Jets' most recent loss to the Dallas Cowboys 37-22 in a blowout majority of the game. This drops the Jets to 0-5 on the season, which is the worst in the NFL. We talk about all the issues on the defensive aspect, which once again gave up more than 30 points, and who were some players that showed good signs, like Breece Hall, who had himself another 100+ yard performance. Listen more to hear our thoughts on it all, and a special segment strictly focused on the trade block and who's in talks to get traded.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I break down the Jets' recent loss to the Miami Dolphins last night (Monday), 27-21, in their first regular-season game under the lights. We talk about the different problems the Jets faced that took them out of the game, and who some of the top players are that can have a pivotal role in future games. Listen more to hear all our thoughts on everything that unfolded and a preview of the Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, my Dad and I discuss the Jets' 29-27 loss to the Buccaneers this past Sunday afternoon. The entire first half was filled with penalties and not a lot of offense, where the Jets entered halftime with 6 points. In the second half, things changed when the Jets went on a run, scoring 14 unanswered before the Bucs went on to win with a game-winning field goal. Listen more to hear our thoughts on all of this, including more on Tyrod's performance and our opinion on whether or not the Jets should play him over Justin Fields.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, I am once again joined by my Dad to discuss the Jets' pathetic loss to the Bills this past Sunday afternoon, 30-10. There was no sort of competitiveness, and all three phases of the game were not at the normal standards. Listen more to hear our thoughts on how the game went, as well as a preview of the Buccaneers game next Sunday.
In this episode of Talking with Tyler, I am joined by my Dad to discuss the latest New York Jets game as they took a 34-32 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This game was back and forth the entire way with little to no punts. It featured two quarterbacks that faced off against their former teams in Justin Fields, a former Steelers QB and now Jets QB, and Aaron Rodgers, who was once a quarterback for the Jets, now a QB for the Steelers. Both quarterbacks balled out, having three or more overall touchdowns to go along with no interceptions. Listen more to hear about this week 1 shootout.
