Lowell and Bridgette are arriving in Riverside, CA on Greyhound bus. Both are somewhat trepidatious about their decision to go head to Riverside, but know that regardless of what they do, they can’t go back home to Port Ominira. Lowell is especially bummed to go to Riverside as he begins to embrace the idea of having powers and questions if it would have been better to go to a witch city where they could defend themselves with magic instead of Riverside.

However, when things were just starting to look up, Bridgette and Lowell are ambushed by an unseen entity. Was this all a mistake?

Kylie wakes up in a daze after having seen her father (Jean) kidnap Bridgette. Xavier and Luna are still reeling from the discovery that Bridgette and Lowell have magical abilities. In the meantime, Jean Williams (Kylie's dad) and Helene Criss are planning to drain Bridgette's power for themselves.
