Desire isn't what we think it is. We avoid it, twist it out of all shape and spend our lives creating problems we have to solve BEFORE we reach our desire. Of course, we never do.

Desire is in fact a potent life-force. It's completely unique and supportive for each of us, it will lead us in the direction that creates the most expansion, the most pleasure and the most fulfilment. It will also spin us giddily along the way, strewing our paths with delights and dark wonders.

We have a basic misunderstanding of DESIRE: it has been confused with 'want'. It is not. It is your secret weapon, the oil that greases the ever-turning wheels of the universe, that stops the squeak on the Earth's axis. And it's yours. For the taking.

How we sold our house, gave away our belongings and moved to another country in a matter of two months. 

Here I'm sharing my story.

I'm sharing from my real-life example how there is no need to let money, family OR ANYTHING stop you from choosing a life you would like to be living. It doesn't have to be a massive choice but it does have to be different than you are comfortable with. And you WILL be uncomfortable. But you will grow.

What I know is that we are now able to design our own lives, our own experiences and choose a life that satisfies us- free from stories and programming. But in order to do this we have to get present with our lives- become adult orphans of the system and take FULL accountability for our choices.

When we self-sabotage we can tire ourselves out trying to solve 'the problem', looking to figure out what we're doing wrong in order to change it. Maybe we're even trying to understand WHY we stop ourselves. This episode explores a DIFFERENT way to have freedom from this.

What happens when we go it alone? When we stop following gurus, experts and those who know more, and instead detox and dig deep to find our OWN knowing. Free from the distractions and doubts that we usually use to stop ourselves. This is my mission in life- to provide a space where, no matter what happens, you can finally be you. TRUE GRIT was an experiment to see what would happen if- after a lifetime of never fully committing to anything- I committed to something that made my hands shake, filled me equally with dread and excitement, and which (so my theory went) would completely change my reality if I chose it.
