Ep 6 In this podcast I’ll be introducing a sounds, sensations, thoughts and feelings awareness session for you to add to your mindfulness and awareness practice.
We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with information. There is so much information that it is impossible for us to be able to process it. Our world is filled with sounds, sensations, thoughts and feelings from the outside world and from our inside world. We’re not consciously aware of all of this information but, unconsciously, parts of our brain are processing it. There are so many messages coming from so many different sources it can be difficult to be aware of important, subtle messages that may be coming from your body, your thoughts or your feelings that may be signalling that something may be wrong or things may be turning negative, self-attacking or self-destructive. Becoming aware of this flow of sounds, sensations, thoughts and feelings is an important step to being able to change direction and choose to behave, speak or respond in a different way.
