They're part of many families' tradition at Christmas now, and if you haven't made it part of yours well this is your sign. Every year the Cork Youth Orchestra celebrates Christmas with a phenomenal Gala concert, this year featuring West End Star Killian Donnelly. And the afternoons of that weekend, the musicians play not one, not two, not three but FOUR matinee concerts, at which the family-favourite "The Snowman" is screened, with the Orchestra playing the score Live. Added to that a programme of Christmas and festive favourites and classics and it's Christmas all wrapped up. Director Tomás McCarthy, and Co-Leaders Ruairí Walsh and Maeve Ní Chathasaigh joined Elmarie Mawe and Conor Tallon in studio to chat about it all.
