Most of Jesus’s miracles were of HEALING people. God promises healing to believers. But how can we hold onto this hope of healing? When your circumstances are dire, you have the opportunity to choose if you will let your faith be dictated by your circumstances or held firm by the unchanging character of God. A Shunammite woman was blessed by God through Elisha to have a son, and when her grown son had died, she didn’t look at her circumstances and say all was lost and she had no hope. Sometimes God will lead us to a calling that we are not meant to see all the way through. Sometimes He might only want us to be a part of the beginning, the middle, or the end. Samson was prophesied to begin the deliverance of Israel, but he was never meant to see it all the way through.
