The first thing that we read in neuroanatomy is usually the spinal cord which even though is daunting seems dooable. Then suudenly we are hit with brainstem sections trying to memorize the diagrams redrawing them but not getting anything into our heads. Brainstem nucleii and their terminology can be confusing. Let's build our concepts so that brainstem sections become child's play and so things stick around for longer in our heads.
