The Cleveland Cavaliers have dropped two straight games, first a heartbreaker to the New York Knicks 126-124 before being blown out 117-100 by the Houston Rockets. In the Knicks game the Cavs gave up 42 points in the 4th quarter to allow New York to come back from a 17 point deficit. Against the Rockets the Cavs were down double digits almost instantly and were pushed around by the NBA's best rebounding team.

Jaylon Tyson was a stand out in both games for the Cavs (16 points, 6 rebounds vs. NYK, 23 points, 15 rebounds vs Houston). Darius Garland appears to be getting healthier for the Cavs and had one of his best games of the year against the Knicks. There is mounting pressure from the fan base to play Jarrett Allen, De'Andre Hunter, and especially Lonzo Ball less minutes.

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to take one step forward and two steps back this season. They played one of their best offensive games of the year in a 130-117 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night before losing 99-94 the following night to the Golden State Warriors in maybe their worst perfomance.

Donovan Mitchell is still playing fantastic as coach Kenny Atkinson stated that he is doing it on his own at times. The Cavs are also getting really good play from some of their younger players in Jaylon Tyson. Nae' Qwan Tomlin, and Craig Porter Jr. The availability and play of some of the Cavs veteran players has been their undoing this season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are now on a 3 game losing streak after losses Friday night to the Atlanta Hawks and Sunday to the Boston Celtics. Both games shared a similar story with the Cavs starting both the game and the 2nd half slowly, resulting in big deficits. In both games they mounted comebacks to make it close but ultimately fell short.

On the positive front Donovan Mitchell is still playing the best basketball of his career and Evan Mobley is getting closer to his form from last season. The Cavs continue to struggle to find consistency on offense and in slowing down perimeter scorers. Payton Pritchard especially torched the Cavs to the tune of 42 points. The Cavaliers have a busy week with playing 5 games in 7 days.

The Cavs have once welcomed Darius Garland back from his most recent toe injury with consecutive wins over the Indiana Pacers and LA Clippers. While Garland has been the kindling of the Cavs offense Donovan Mitchell continues to be the gasoline, averaging 34.5 points in the two wins. Evan Mobley has also picked up his play, averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds in the last 2 games.

The Cavs travel to Toronto tomorrow night looking for revenge against the Raptors, who have already hung two double digit losses on Cleveland this season. The Cavs continue to have mixed results following a 108-100 win over Memphis. The Memphis win was proceeded by a 126-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors, their second double digit loss to Toronto this season.

The Cavs continue to get stellar play from Donovan Mitchell, who is threatening to repeat his 1st team All NBA performance freom last season. Cleveland has also gotten unexpected. contributions from Nae'Qwan Tomlin this week, who is doing an excellent Jaylon Tyson impression while Tyson recovers from a concussion.

The Cavs finished a 2 game series in South Beach the Miami Heat with a 130-116 win. Jarrett Allen was HUGE for the Cavs with all the other starters out, finishing with 30 points. Craig Porter Jr. was also fantastic with an increased role, chipping in 19 points and 9 assists.

This way came on the heels of the most devastating loss of the season, a 140-138 thriller in OT. Donovan Mitchell hit a INSANE tying 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left only for the Cavs to have a defensive breakdown to lose the game on a Andrew Wiggins layup.

Skylar and Kevin do a deep dive on the two games in Miami along with previewing the upcoming games against Toronto and Memphis. We finish off with some solid advice in our Dads Talkin' Cavs segment.
