In the heart of Appalachia, monsters don’t just haunt the woods — they walk Main Street.

When small-town constable Chandler Blood bonds with a demon in his head, he gains visions of trouble before it strikes. Unfortunately, trouble arrives in the form of his long-missing best friend, John Moone — now a monster hunter for a secretive corporate agency. Together, they stumble into a web of supernatural threats and small-town secrets that could tear their community apart.

From redneck vampires and fire demons to eccentric forest wizards and a corrupt sheriff hungry for power, The Blood & Moone Files blends Appalachian small town setting, buddy-comedy banter, and creeping mystery into a serialized audio drama.

This indie series delivers equal parts humor, horror, and heart — where loyalty is tested, magic is dangerous, and the monsters aren’t always the ones in the woods.

The Blood & Moone files - Episode 9 - Ash to Ash, Dust to Dust

The town is still smoking from Ajim’s rampage, and Chandler and John jump straight into the cleanup — exhausted, scorched, and still processing the chaos left behind. But among the ashes, something older than the town itself begins to surface. A forgotten basement… ancient stonework… and a presence that’s been waiting in the dark a very, very long time.

As the boys descend below the ruins, Chandler’s uneasy partnership with Caym takes a turn, John’s “Murk” instincts sharpen, and the pair discover a relic that shouldn’t exist — a locked tome radiating power no one understands. Not even Catherine.

“Ash to Ash, Dust to Dust” pushes the Blood & Moone boys deeper into Appalachian occult territory than ever before, blurring the line between magic, memory, and what these two are becoming.

Themes: Appalachian folklore, buried secrets, consequence, demonic influence, ancient magic.

Content Warning: Creepy subterranean environments, supernatural tension, mild language.

A restless night sends Chandler spiraling into a nightmare he can’t quite escape… and the demon Caym finally shows its hand. While Chandler tries to shake off the encounter, John is already neck-deep in bad news: the Ifrit’s trail leads him straight to the Brooks family farm, and what he uncovers there changes everything.

As Ajim closes in, the boys are forced into a desperate scramble for survival — a high-speed chase, a collapsing deck, and a last-ditch plan that might burn the whole damn town down. But an unexpected ally steps out of the shadows… one that turns Chandler’s world upside down in more ways than one.

“Oil and Water” turns the heat all the way up as ancient fire, secret magic, and the truth behind Jen collide. If you’ve been waiting for the Blood & Moone boys to face something truly unstoppable, this is the episode.

Themes: Appalachian occult, fire spirits, demonic influence, identity, trust, survival, supernatural action.

Content Warning: Intense supernatural violence, fire imagery, peril, frightening dream sequences.

The Blood & Moone files - Episode 7 - Djinn Running

A survivor haunted by fire, a missing wizard, and a fragile spark of hope — the flames are spreading through Cooke Hollow, and nobody’s safe from the burn.

The fallout from the fire is spreading. John Moone is chasing answers after the disappearance of the Tree Wizard, while Chandler Blood tries to keep his life stitched together one bad cup of coffee at a time. But when they track down Tony Brooks, a survivor of magic gone wrong, they learn that fire leaves more than ashes — it leaves marks.

As John faces the truth about what’s burning through the mountains, Chandler finds something he hasn’t felt in a long time: connection. Between new sparks with Jen, old shadows with Caym, and a cursed man haunted by flames, the boys are learning that every fire starts somewhere… and some never go out.

The Blood & Moone Files continues — an Appalachian supernatural audio drama about monsters, mercy, and the danger of trying to make peace with either.

The Blood & Moone files - Episode 6 - The Tree Wizard

John seeks answers from a forest mystic known as the Tree Wizard while Chandler fights Caym’s growing hold. The fire’s spreading—and something ancient is stirring.

The deeper Chandler Blood and John Moone dig, the older the bones they uncover. While Chandler tries—and fails—to keep his sanity under control back home, John tracks down an old ally known only as The Tree Wizard, a forest mystic who speaks to roots, ghosts, and things older than men.

What John learns out there in the woods changes everything: a fiery spirit called Ajim is loose in the hills, bound to a human host… and something even older is waking beneath the Smokies.

Back in town, Chandler’s not sleeping, Caym’s getting stronger, and the salt lines might not be enough to hold back what’s coming.

The Blood & Moone Files continues — an Appalachian supernatural audio drama about friendship, fire, and the kind of evil that doesn’t need an invitation to get in.

Now the trio find themselves hunting a creature that doesn’t play by regular werewolf rules — and Chandler’s the only one who forgot to pack silver.
