Chhath Puja is a festival that comes from Hindu traditions in Bihar, India. There are specific roles involved, and the family works together to prepare and celebrate Chhath Puja. With Indian families living modular city lives, Chhath Puja traditions have changed. The festival isn’t celebrated the same way parents and grandparents acknowledge the festival in the countryside. But the spirit of Chhath Puja is sustained by descendants of Bihar through modern Indian traditions.
