Ara Grimaldo is an education and community advocate. She believes that all youth deserve an equitable education and access to community resources in order to thrive. In her current role at After8toeducate, she works to support homeless youth reach their full potential.

Ara has a bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Commerce Track and Spanish Concentration from Texas A&M University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She is currently working towards her EdD-Doctor of Education at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

Ara lives in Dallas, TX where she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. She also enjoys visiting her parents’ home where they will treat her to authentic Mexican food. She is a lifelong education advocate and looks forward to making an impact in the community she loves.
