In 2016, when Jessica's daughter was born, they discovered she had a genetic mutation where she has difficulty processing toxins, which can cause health issues. Mary Ann Hanlon, a life-long resident of Easthampton, is the parent of an adopted child from foster care, Michael. She is also the mother of a biological daughter, Katelyn with her husband, Rick. Katelyn lives in Rhode Island with her fiancé, Tyler, and works at Brown University. Mary Ann has varied work experience having worked in the hotel industry, the educational field as well as most recently in retail, owning her own dance apparel business for 15 years. She has worked with various non-profit organizations over the years to help raise money and awareness for them. Over the years, she has attended workshops related to children with special needs and is a fierce advocate for her son. Kit Pedraza is a New England based artist currently living in Northampton, MA. Their love of art began during childhood and followed him all the way through university at Plymouth State where he studied studio art with a concentration in drawing. Not bound to any mediums or styles, Pedraza’s work draws from a few inspirations like Da Vinci, Jack Kirby and Van Gogh, and can be classified mainly as pseudo-realistic or abstract. Marguerite loves working with people who are active in their path to wellness and healing. She has a warm and welcoming space is Chicopee, Massachusetts where she meets with people individually and provides adult mental health services, Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), and events that include practices such as Mindfulness, guided imagery, meditative body scans – overall opportunities for relaxation and
manifestation of life’s desires. To assist with manifesting life’s desires, or shifting a place of feeling stuck, Marguerite facilitates retreats for women.
Her study of Mindfulness began after a traumatic loss in her own life. What she found was so much more than she’d ever imagined possible, and it went far beyond healing the initial loss. She now brings
what she has learned full circle within her work with adults.
In addition to her adult services, she is certified in children’s yoga in areas such as Trauma Informed Yoga for Children, Mindfulness and Yoga for Diverse Abilities, Mindfulness and Yoga for Athletes, and
Mindfulness for Tweens and Teens.

In this weeks episode we have on Miss American Nation: Jenniffer Fanska. Jenniffer is a 51 year old mother of eight children, through a combined marriage. At the age of 49 she began to compete in pageants and is also plus size. She currently holds the title of the 2024 Classic Miss American Nation and will be competing in the Miss Culture Galaxy International, this coming August of 2024.
Jenniffer is an ambassador and advocate for SUDC. Which stands for sudden unexplained death in childhood. Back in 2002 Jenniffer lost her son to this very cause. SUDC is the counterpart to SIDS, and most children that die from SUDC are the ages of 1-18. They go to sleep and never wake up, and there are no causes, no factors and no explanations to explain why. This often leads to misdiagnosis and statistics that are incorrect. Jenniffer is passionate about this cause and bringing awareness to help families and mothers in the healing process. Through everything, Jenniffer learned to turn her pain into power, and now empowers and inspires others to do the same!

Through trials and tribulations of her dog Pepa being diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer, Briana wanted to find a healthy alternative to dog food and treats that would support her dog Pepas journey to recovery.
This is where she found that making homemade dog food from scratch and using more holistic approaches, helped Pepas health and other dogs drastically! Her passion was ignited and now Briana and Pepas Paws serves as an advocate for other animals who are sick or have special needs. In 2023, Briana decided to expand Pepas Paws and is offering pet sitting services and will be launching an online pet boutique soon!
