
So we all want quick fixes, especially when it comes to things that feel really painful, like emotional eating. And I get it. I tried all of the quick fixes I could find when I was going through my own emotional eating journey.
I tried the diets, I tried the personal trainers. I tried the detoxes, the sprints, all of the things I could get my hands on, even therapy, and it didn’t help me shift this pattern.
And while they might feel helpful for a little while because you feel like you have a sense of agency, they quickly fall to the wayside when you get triggered and you're back in your emotional eating spiral.
