For the last six months, I’ve been moving slowly and intentionally through The Way of the Heart, Volume 1 of The Christ Mind Trilogy. One chapter a month. One lesson at a time. Letting each teaching settle into my body and rearrange the way I see myself, God, and the world around me.

This episode is a deep and honest look at something many of us struggle with. The simple act of receiving. I have always been someone who loves to give. It feels natural to pour into others. But receiving. That has been a lifelong lesson.
I started noticing all the small moments when someone offered me kindness and I would respond with a qualifier. You didn’t have to do that. Let me pay you back. I insist on covering this. At the time it felt polite. What I did not see was how often I was blocking my own blessings.
And then something even bigger clicked. When we refuse to receive from someone, we clip the wings of their generosity. We limit the expansion their heart was reaching for. We interrupt the guidance that nudged them to give in the first place.
In this episode I share the moments that taught me this lesson. From my aunt offering me her condo, to friends buying me lunch, to the old money stories that made me believe I needed to manage who paid for what. I share the shift that came when I started saying thank you I receive that. Clean. Simple. Open.
