Many of us learned as children that to be pleasing and remain safe or liked it meant that we needed to pipe down... but for those of you listening here at the Fireside, I believe a huge role you're meant to carry out is through your voice and ideas! You're here to change the game! To dream new things into being and that means there will be people who don't get it or who don't understand, but that's okay! I usually say your message isn't meant for them, but I'm really learning that perhaps it is. That friction we create in their discomfort is part of their growth, too.

What also happens when we lean into the truth that rest IS productive and feeds our creativity, innovation, AND creates grounded, centered, aligned living if we'll listen! THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE: Today's Fireside Friday centered around lighthouses! I was struck in my research of these great symbols of hope how many of the light houses keepers within would really struggle with isolation, paranoia and depression because most of them were in such isolation from everyone else. How often have we looked at lighthouses as beacons of hope and strength, but have we ever really stopped to think about the cost it's taken to maintain those stances? Where in our life and leadership have we been holding the line, but perhaps we need a break or even just a check-in on how we're doing? Acknowledging where we need support or aid within us is essential to continuing the longstanding hope and love we want to bring to the world.
