We have been taught to hold in our anger, because God forbid we feel angry in front of our children. We are taught to hold it all together and "be the bigger person."
But, what if holding anger inside of you was one of the main things keeping you in struggle and survival mode?
When our bodies and mind is clouded with withheld anger and frustration, it affects how we show up on the daily basis. Unnamed tension between family members, frustration towards self, frustration towards our kids- it all affects our relationships, connection, peace, and ability to live from our fullest potential.
