Welcome back to another episode of the Family Dinner Podcast!
On today’s episode, we will be talking about raw & relatable conversations in marriage around sex, grief, and trauma.
We talk through the messy middle of working through hard things, reminding ourselves that marriage is for holiness, not for happiness.
Here's a bio about the Sowells:
Jamell and Bria Sowell are passionate, spiritual creatives from Atlanta and the Bronx, respectively. Married at the end of 2021 and currently residing in the Greater Philadelphia area, they love God; continuously seek to love and serve people; and enjoy traveling, working out and spending time with family and friends. The Sowells both work in higher education as Jamell pursues his Master of Social Work degree and Bria freelances by night. She has written many lifestyle pieces for Radiant NYC, Sweet July and Ebony Magazine.
Bria is currently on SubStack with a publication called: Blessed Are Those Who Mourn, where she features everyday stories of loss as a means to heal by sharing in each others’ pain and redefining our traditional black and white thinking around seasons of grief and mourning.
