In "Protect the Quasar Saber," the Galaxy Rangers face a desperate race to secure Kendrix's fallen Pink Quasar Saber after it lands on Gwinnet and ends up at auction on Onyx. Amidst the chaos, Karone, formerly Astronema, resurfaces, bidding on the Saber, only to be exposed by Trakeena. She escapes with the weapon, seeking to warn the Rangers, but is ambushed by Trakeena's forces. After falling from a cliff, Kendrix's spirit appears and bestows upon Karone the power of the Pink Galaxy Ranger. Morphing into action, Karone joins the Rangers to battle Trakeena and her minions, ultimately destroying Ironite with the help of the Megazords.
